    Kinetic Energy trading

    Hi,

    A number of you understand what is kinetic energy equation, right?

    Ek = 1/2 X mass X speed2

    OK
    How can be useful to trading?

    Picture to Assess the energy of a currency.

    As rate I used the delta (Close-Open) values of last 2 candles separated by time.
    And as mass I utilized the volumes.

    So ploting the value, we get a curve that rapresent the energy in the market at every moment

    It makes sense??

    You will find here the indior as well as the EA.
    ENTRY RULE: crossover of lower or upper BB
    EXIT RULE: crossover of line

    Thanks for your comments... thoughts...!

    Hi, Some of you know what's kinetic energy equation, right? Ek = 1/2 mass speed^2
    Thank you for your remarks... thoughts...!
    First of all let us adjust kinetic energy formulation and substitute by *
    Ek = 1/2 mass * speed^2
    Some other points:Financial markets aren't similar to mechanics. Yes you are right, price moves after market orders are placed but there is no inertial move. It'll stop if the motion is not encouraged by new market orders. The volumes you are using aren't volumes. They are the number of ticks at the candle and named as tick volumes but should be named as tick counts and occasionally differs a lot from futures volumes. So market order with 0.1 lot and 1000.0 lots have the same effect on tick volumes. Speed calculation by Highs' procedure only is not the one imho. Better to use Close pub prices or medium if you would like to choose one point. Much better tick MA (Moving Average) with brief span. Not the worst although the simplest would be to use Close[1]-Open[1].

    Hello, Some of you know what's kinetic energy equation, right? Ek = speed^2 OK can be useful to trading? Imagine to measure the energy of some currency. As speed I used 2 candles divided by time's Maximum values. And as mass I utilized the volumes. So ploting the value, we get a curve which rapresent the energy in the market at each time You will find here the indior and the EA. ENTRY RULE: crossover of NO EXIT: just SL and TP Thank you for your remarks... ideas...! document ...
