thread: Kinetic Energy trading

quote First of all let us correct kinetic energy formula and substitute * Ek = 1/2 mass * speed^2 Some other factors: Financial markets aren't like mechanics. Yes you are correct, price moves after market orders are put but there is no move. It'll stop if the motion is not encouraged by new market orders. The amounts you are currently using aren't volumes. They're the number of ticks at the candle and termed as tick amounts but should be termed as tick counts and differs a lot from futures actual volumes. So market order with...
I updated indior and ea on post1 (see quote):

I changed Delta calculation (Close-Open1) instead of (High-High1)...
it seems to provide less false signs

Hi. The concept looks interesting but I do not get the entry... Every time that the line crosses 0? It looks like very wiggly to me: up and down every few bars... Am I missing some thing? Thank you
Hi 4fxonly, have you the smile on ea? (activated to open/close orders)

Hi. I didn't express myself well: I meant that the indior crosses the 0 line up and down fairly frequently. How can that be an entry sign at every cross?

It utilize Time of host, period (second) on each timeframe.

    Hello!

I put in bollinger bands in the indior. (you can alter period and Dev.Standart)

Afterward the rules of EA was altered:
-ENTRY: crossover top (buy) or lower band (market )
    -CLOSE: crossover zero line.

Please see updated files in Post#1

utilizing physics formulas is an interesting idea... having ticks and time accounted for in any formula seems like a better step than simply an indicaotr that is based from an ma of price alone... cool thread

    perhaps a power indior

or even with your kinetic indior.... Use to bears candles versus apply to bulls candles versus your current indie (employed to both bulls bears candles)

applied to bear candles just bears power.... And a bulls power in contrast to....overall power provides a good trend indiion

    you asked for thoughts!

    Thought #2.

Use the indiors to range bar charts OR if a good developer can make the ea run AS IF they were being applied to range bar charts. . .would most probably work far better

on second thought, would that even work? hmmmmmmmmmmm

Hello men! Just wondering how would you define the possible energy of this market/pair if we define energy as the rate of price change that the market is game, hence it has to be in some sort of equilibrium. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, only converted from 1 form to another... So let's balance the energy equation...

Adegard - Thank you for the indior. I attempted him to affirm that the inputs of the arrow indiors. The results are favorable. I hope this is not a coincidence.
