    The correlated arb/hedge-system

    Hi folks!

I'd like any assistance from anybody...

I trying to develop an arbitrage/hedge platform (called whatevery you like) of my very own. At least I have an idea I would like to see whether it works...
The concept is quite straightforward. I trying to make the most of the correlation between EUR/USD and USD/CHF. These two pairs is known for it's good significance. So my idea is to take a position (buy or sell) when the significance isn't good. Then the pair will begin ching up to be connected. When that occurs among the currency pair will move more then another and that's what I want to make the most of.

But I have a problem... a BIG problem. In order to create my idea come true I need indiors that shows me the significance between two pairs.
I've looked into EUR/USD and USD/CHF but I having I hard time seeing if it's good correlated or not.

Any other indiors that might help me out would be appriciated too.

I've found some indiors that I can't understand at all. They're from a webpage called ForexForSmarties. However, as I said I don't understand how to use them at all.

Ok... hope someone can help me and give me some indiors... and please include some brief description of how to use/read the indior.

    Regards / JoLi

I looked at this thought a few months ago too, but was wrapped up at a different thought. It seemed good in the quantity of time I looked at it. If it stands out I would love to know!

I will analyze both of these indiors

I am in my job now so I can not test it ...
But are they simple to read/use?

Seavo: Ofcourse I'll presentate my thought and system when it seems nice and profitable.

Ensure the names of the pairs are exactly the same that your broker uses. This can be from the input part of this indior when you set it to the chart.
Some times, brokers set a m following a pair such as EURUSDm This could indie a micro or mini account. In case the name isn't accurate, it won't work.

Speaking of arbitrage, browse the superb: Triangular arbitrage in the foreign exchange market by Marios Mavrides.

The novels demones the best currencies for triangular arbitrage would be the Yen, the British Pound and the US dollar. All these 3 currencies do get out of whack occasionally, but only for a couple of seconds or minutes at most.

I have modified the preceding indior to draw the absolute pip difference. Maybe it is possible to grab a pattern from viewing that.
