    Discussion on Indicators pertaining SRDC

    Hi All,

This will be a good place to discuss all type of indiors that assist SRDCers to exchange more effectivelly. In addition, it will help all to learn more efficiently without becoming lost in the ribbon.

I discovered, the Imperial troopers are busy at this time of day.... boooohhh. .

Hi all, there has been some debate of Hi Low indiors and I have been using the first two listed below for some time (spring up 2006-ish?) And you may find them useful from the SRDC I and I advanced models as the SRDC rules state that we're searching for breaks of the Daily Hi or Low to initiate a trade. Instead of hand draw the Daily H/L in your own chart either of those three indiors below will do this automaticaly.

Http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_HMLC.mq4 will show yesterday's High, Median, Low, and close.

Http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_HMLCall.mq4 same as previously but is fine for backtesting as lines from previous days remain on chart.

The next indior I uploaded today and will also show candle HiLow but with a twist. WARNING...: from the user dialog box there's a varialbe called HL_Hours; you may set the number to anything you wish from 1 hour to 24 hours. The default option is set to 24 hours so it complies from the box using the SRDC Daily Candle Hi / Low rules.

Http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_HiLoXTF.mq4 this indior was originaly created by Rob Judd a.k.a. haiku in cliqforex to show H/L of the last 4 hours on a chart. I was looking for a similar indior to show the H/L and Median of various times such as the past 60 minutes. . .so I supposed the original to include the variable TF and also a median line.

    Cheers,
    Thom

The below indiors are used by me each trading day since last spring and have allowed me to have much desired away-from-screen time in they will send out an audio alarm or email alert when price intersects a manually drawn trend line.

Http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_T...lert_email.mq4 is an alert set on a trend line which will activate an audio file, and/or email when price breaches the tendency line while faling. Make sure you also grab my fine audio file for this indior here: http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/falling-price-alert.wav (tip: Click and Save Target As, then put inside the noises directory of your mt4.

Http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_T...lert_email.mq4 is an alert set on a trend line which will activate an audio file, and/or email when price breaches the tendency line while increasing. Here's a simple add on to this SRDC approved CCI known as http://www..com/fx-srdc/indiors/FXSn...gger(SRDC).mq4.

What the add on does is includes Dots at candle shut to get a wonderful visual. I have been using dots in my indiors for some time (summer 2005) as a mentor of mine (a pro trader in futures/forex) was using for decades in his style. Putting the dots on the CCI in now way alters the SRDC entry rules or CCI. It simply gives the user a wonderful visual on wherever the candle shut and if it shut above/below a specific signal line.

If you wish to utilize the optional tweak by http://www..com/fx-srdc/indiors/FXSn...rDOT(SRDC).mq4 in the case above, just place the original FXScci on chart, then drag the DOT variation on top to reveal line and ster cci: ) All settings are default SRDC accepted.

OK, in the TS rooms I've seen traders utilizing a 50 LWMA on their 1 hour charts (and also a 200 on the 15m chart), with this in mind I share the following:

http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_XpMA.mq4 my simple alteration of CoderGuru's creative and useful XpMA indior. All I did was put in a verticle change alternative (and I got this code from Akuma99!!) . Enjoy.

From the box it's set to the default 50 LWMA and may be changed by the user.

AccreteI make use of your indiors all the time, really beneficial. Recently I've begun to monitor the other two pairs that are suggested for SRDCI, and wanted to Modify them for each pair to acquire the correct message to my phone.
And I reproduced the first one, and renamed them to each pair, and changed the code to modify the msg, but yet, it did not work as anticipated.
Any chance you could help me out?

Hello Steve, happy to help where I could. Are you able to describe in detail what did not work as expected? Thanks.

This time what's drawn on the chart is a simple horizontal line instead of a manualy adjustable trend line.

Once the indiors are put on a chart a line will look at the current price. Simply adjust the line up or down to the desired area and await Audrey's sweet voice to call you to the charts!

Http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_Channel-Break-Dn.mq4 is a alert set on a flat line that will activate an audio file when price breaches the line while faling. Be sure to also grab my nice audio file for this indior here: http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/price-alertPL.wav (hint: Click and Save Target As, then place inside the noises directory of your mt4.

Http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/ATM_Channel-Break-Up.mq4 is a alert set on a flat line that will activate an audio file when price breaches the line while increasing. Be sure to also grab my nice audio file for this indior here: http://www..com/fx-atm/indiors/price-alertPH.wav (see above tip for use).

    Accrete,

Thanks again for dooddling. I've been using your trendline awake and now I am going to use the station break up... What is the best way to be certain I am only alerted after maybe twice by my cell phone? I place the channels 10 pips out of the high/low from the previous day to give me time.
