Well done and Good Luck for you thread. After you posted that video in another thread I have to admit that it had an effect on my way of trading. Since a few months I also attempt this way of target trading using 4h charts. For EURUSD I've above 1,1500 such as your goal. So sounds we're drawing on the S/L lines in exactly the exact same way and found exactly the same up- or downtrend previously. I know what's mentioned in the video that it is the intention to go from one goal to the other. But I was constantly asking myself what could be...
    Hi Malu, thanks so far!

Yes I know what you're saying. The criteria I use is simply whether price action is over or below the 200 ema. Agree with you about perhaps going down to the 1 hour or even 30 min chart to discover the ideal entry point. I believe that's extremely great idea.

I have to say that I really rarely trade EURUSD. If you take a look at that chart above one can see that EU price action doesn't respect our ema's whatsoever so it is not a pair to trade so far as finding decent set up areas.

Here's a great one to watch for next week, USDCAD. Looking down to 1.2650 particularly if it recovers somewhat first up to the 1.2800 area. Even though it is contrary to the primary trend which is up but I think that it's going to continue down for a while.

After you posted that video in a different thread I must acknowledge that it had an effect on my method of trading. Since a couple of months I also try this manner of goal trading utilizing 4h charts.
Especially for EURUSD I've exactly the same goal of near above 1,1500 such as you. So sounds we're drawing the S/L lines in exactly the exact same manner and found exactly the same up- or downtrend in the past.
I understand what's mentioned in the video it is the intention to go from one goal to another. However, I was always asking myself what would be a good method to recognize the trend is busted. E.g for the EU instance: when would we be convinced that 1,1520 isn't the goal anymore as conditions have changed?

Also I would be interested whether you use 1h chart on your entry (I use it)?
Can you explain more exactly what the standards for your entry is and how you set the SL? Would be interested as the manners involving some goal are really wide.

1 Attachment(s) OK now we have that out how we can have a look at a few promising charts

Firstly I must say that here we are not actually interested here at any specific technical system like Bollinger bands, etc.. Howver I do use a few key ema's on my chart which simply help me in loing fine set-ups

let's look at GBPAUD. As you can see, in banged from the first resistance level. But those who got in about 1.6950 - 1.7000 had blue skies right up to 1.7100

OK therefore we don't yet just how far the BB's are going to pull it back so we have to leave GBPAUD for now, agreed?

1 Attachment(s) So Can we concentrate on finding good looking opportunities for next week?

Ok, so one fine one, IMHO, is GBPCAD. In the moment it's at a tight range after that large fall yesterday but when it shows signs of moving again next week, then there is some wonderful blue skies around 1.6850. I would start looking for a candle to close above 1.6700 of course before entering.
