Trade everyday... some are lower than others and as vaions. An individual can't predict which days are good to trade ... before the end of the day.

Figures state that Fridays and Sundays are slow... but I've seen days when Fridays and Sundays were the best days to trade for this week.

There are lots of important things about Fridays: * The market closes at 4:00 pm NYT before Sunday afternoon 5:00 pm NYT * You generally do not wish to carry open positions into the weekend (unless you are prepared for the possible action - good or bad) coming into the new week. The majority of individuals don't have that crystal ball * You will have carry cost or interest possible * Friday afternoon's are slop because most trader's are considering other things There are more, but I expect you get the idea... If you want to exchange the London and...
I agree with you totally. People who are never happy unless they are investing in everyday lose money because of over-trading. People who wish to create money wait to get a trending market and individuals who wish to lose cash will transaction contra fad and consolidating markets, a recipe for disaster. Why would anyone trade on a Friday or Monday if the big players are mostly out of the market. There is very little price action even at a trending market on these days.

Yes, like mentioned previously, the PA will be choppy, many will probably be occupied taking profits and most traders generally would not want to carry open positions over the weekend.

On a serious note! Because- Keep calm and thank god it's Friday

Trading on Fridays offers an opportunity for high benefit but also will come with a high risk. There are some reasons why you need ton't trade on Friday: 1) Large gaps once the market opens two) Greater spreads 3) Bad market states.

quote I think each day gives oportunities, I do commerce on fridays and its the exact same for me personally, but yea market closes before... cautious with leaving your orders opened
I concur that each and every day gives opportunities for example Friday. Nevertheless, the open orders have to be conservative as the weekend stinks can be dreadful sometimes. Attached is the spreads on 5 weekend out of my broker. Some pairs are getting 100-200 pipsHow're other brokers doing for weekend spreads?

As a rule volatility is low on Fridays

if it is the first Friday of a month, then you will find payrolls, then there would be demanding jumps and high volatility on the contrary. Of course, if you're a news trader then it is great.

When you've got open transactions on Friday, then on Monday there will be a gap, even if on weekend price plays you personally

Hence, I'm thinking if I hedge ALL Positions before conclusion of the week, would it be more valuable than shutting it? I can lock my positions and unlock it on Monday if the spreads are more stable.

How are different brokers performing on weekends?
