Another issue which is not figured into the backtesting is the swap. If you are holding transactions for months or even months, how much are you losing in exchange? Maybe an alternative is to have the EA only transaction from the direction of the positive swap. In several of my term egies, I suggest doing this and then you may put it on several large interest pairs (by way of example, anything with AUD inside), only a thought.

Well seen . I have altered the EA to input just long positions, the results are also very good, it transforms 1000 into 53000 (plus the swaps) and also you don't have to be worried about brief swaps:

I have tested it too (HA Final with just long positions) with AUDUSD, the outcomes are good, it turns 1000 in to 6000 since 2007 till today (I don't know why but it does not let me start since 2002, maybe my broker don't have enough historical data), and you have to bring the swaps from interest rates of AUD:

Maybe I start to trade with this system in both pairs.

1 Attachment(s) In accore with this system today is a fantastic oportunity to enter in EURUSD, the final monthly HA bar is white:

    https://www.cliqforex.com/general-fo...es-better.html

But rather than 400 pips of SL I suggest you 200 pips, under the previous 2 months lows, at 1.28950.
And no TP, we'll hold the trade until the next red bar or until it strikes the SL, possibly moving up the SL every month.
We will see in the next months how it behaves

1 Attachment(s) Another chart without HA to demone the last monthly breakouts, is that a true or a false new breakout? We'll see...

but a few fellow traders from here show me the fact: if a market has trend, it is not random,
Can you not find the charts that somebody posted in one of your other threads of a random chart and a actual chart that showed clearly that both possess trends?

Does that imply that if a chart does not possess a very clear trend that it is arbitrary?

Imagine if a chart shows no clear trend and then starts trending? Can it be then changed to not arbitrary and random?

Imagine if a greater timeframe chart reveals not clear trend but on reduced timeframes there are definite trends? Is randomness timeframe special and/or reliant?

These are questions for you to contemplate if you're so inclined. They may help you come to another conclusion than the one you have now.

Yes, tendencies in such cases are strictly coincidence IMHO.

Does that mean that when a chart doesn't possess a clear fashion that it is arbitrary?
Maybe yes maybe not, if has trend it's not arbitrary doesn't involve the contrary: if has not trend it's arbitrary, but the appropiate question is how can you trade in a market that has no trend? Only with news releases? Like interest rates or unemployment rates. I think it's a lot more dificult commerce in these types of markets compared to commerce in a market with a transparent trend.

Imagine if a chart indies no obvious trend and then starts trending? Can it be random and then suddenly changed to not arbitrary?
    Sincerely, dunno, maybe yes.

Imagine if a higher timeframe chart reveals not clear trend but on reduced timeframes you will find definite tendencies? Is randomness timeframe special and/or reliant?
Clear trends maybe..., but only during modest period of time, it doesn't deserve to trade because in the long-term volatility can blow off your account up.

I still feel that in reduced timeframes there's a lot of volatility and that volatility leads to randomness. Show me a method backtested during years that works on reduced timeframes and that I shall change my point of view.

As promised, the current trading session. It was a losing day for me personally, volatility was a dud, and that I left a dumb platform mistake: https://www.cliqforex.com/trading-sy...sm-intact.html

Still walked off with 6 pips however, a lot better than most losers. Waste of my time. If I trade tonight, I'll post a follow up and a much better example. If not than I'm off for the remainder of the week for Thanksgiving, so maybe another time.

Note: I also don't start trading until near 9 because I must drop off my sister at college while I'm visiting my parents this week and next. I just get home and jump the computer. Plenty of money to be produced.

    Good luck you guys.
