There are many approaches to help make a community-edition of an algorithm.
One of the ways is providing tested hypotheses, rather than throwing random suggestions.
It's simple to indie but it's another thing to suggest a tested theory. Back up your ideas with some kind of evidence that it might help in the overall EA - it doesn't need to be 100% empirical, however some evidence certainly helps.

If the motive to go open source is to help with the testing and optimisation of parameters, then a compiled file will suffice. What is the purpose of distributing versions that are mq4 to a non-coder?

I totally agree.
Only open source will allow to develop a very interesting item. The most valuable and know-how is the EA algorithm. And when we discuss this specific algorithm of EA within this subject, then other readers of this subject can also be able to encode it... So why should we conceal the source code?

If EA works really well, there will be any demand for Lease or market of EA. When it's good, despite little equity balance, account can grow really well.

Watch the calculations still have to be perfected. Edge Stuff- not sure what it is.

We must acquire calculations right and see that it handles and profit is reserved correctly.

Anyway, give what you believe is a great Edge. I will help you.
