Until I do this, maybe you'll check if my (BE)formulation is mathematically accurate.
If so, you can trade fairly risk-free with good trend egies.

Yes, you are right. DD is not as but so are the profits. 20% each year. (900 Euro on 3000 Investment)
According to Voldemar227 , there's error on your 18.431 18.441 (he mentioned on page 7).
According to you, 18.46 18.47 has entrance and martingale problems.
Previous models dont have Lot Multiplier alternative for martingale trades. So it means there isn't any version released to test cent account?

I do not think it's an issue of difficulty. There are enough coders.
It's whether or not the good coders believe the effort is well worth it.
A hedge to get a martingale is essentially another martingale constructed on top of the 1st martingale. There is no way to describe this. Is it tricky to code this? No. Is it worth the while? Maybe. And like most of martingales, it requires a big enough balance and the right tools to trade this with. I've described my thoughts on this in additional martingale threads and my opinion remains the same. I've coded out a proof of concept with this grail in mind however, the risks remain.
I believe more testing has to be performed (XAUUSD: No black dots = range egy, black dots = tendency egy happens over)
I love the idea of collaborative thinking. Keep these thoughts coming guys, we may come up with something good!
Perhaps adding about what TraderTero stated above about adding on to winning side, I actually enjoy the idea of taking profits on the way in order to reduce the current weight loss reduction. I suggested this to pipbeast ea , no idea what happened to the man after he ended the ea... But maybe it can be of some use here. I really do apologise as I do not have sufficient expertise to code this however.
Hello, I had the same question when I had been trading manually. What I ended up with is after the hedge, why just not restart from small lots again and again close some of the reduction with profits obtained.
This is how it works: Floating hedge -$200 (or as defined by user) and a 'pay-per-click %', for example set it to 20%. Now when a successful trade is created, 20% of these profits is employed to close a number of their reduction. So a successful $5 trade, $4 will be banked and $1 will cancel $1 out of reduction. Placing the 'pay-off' value to 100% will mean that $5 of profit will be used to offset the reduction. Please let me know what you think. This may scale from the reduction.
So, bottom line _______ is that, it may be possible to add additional lots to winning side in order to take a few slow profits to scale from the reduction side. Then just wait for the set Equity TP to hit with the desired profit earlier.
Best Regards,
