I am starting this new thread for newbies to TMS after the previous one kindly started by MrAussie was closed by him for why we are not sure but hopefully he'll come in and donate to this one if he believes he wants to return to FF.

I don't know how often I can tend to it, therefore would ask if some other TMS veterans would love to participate and answer questions it would be valued

all of us trade TMS differently, everyone has their very own sanity, and their particular timeframe, however there are certain things to take notice of on all timeframes that can make the difference between you getting in on a transfer too late or too early.

All types of different charts are welcome on the thread provided that they are using the tdi, stochastic if needed by them and of course a mtf tdi if they want to use it because thats what I use as well, pivots or without pivots, trendlines or maybe not. Put simply whatever makes you comfortable trading, because thats what you have to be. But, any greater than those indiors won't be tolerated since they simply serve to confuse, if you want to use other indiors when you are trading of course you are able to do this but we don't need to view them on here.

If you place a chart with your trades onto it, then we not just need to see closed trades we will need to see what the chart looked like when the trade was opened, that helps more than anything to see what we're talking about. Thus, when you take a trade all you have to do is hit the print screen button and then save the image, if you didn't have the time to take action, that can be excused several times but not all the time. We don't need to post straight away, it can be achieved after the trade is closed, so nobody needs their trading bothered just so they could place it on here. However, people like that take a specific style and lots of trades, and you can view his trades available on his chart can likewise be excused from revealing them in the time of entry it's possible to pay your order amount afterwards and lot size if you want to. Its nobody else's business what lot size you trade its about getting the entries right and knowing how to have a timely depart.

So the new thread is open for business

EDIT: I have attached the various indiors and explanations for their use to help newer members that come in. Trial and error will tell you the ones that suit you best.

I use the synergy apb indior as I have got used to the way it could show me price action nearly in addition to the japanese candles, but to use them or not is up for you separately. You might also use the Heiken i there is a slight gap between both with the way they calculate closed price, I favor the APB. The one I use has an alarm you can change on to get a change of colour.

Now for your TDI's and that is where it could get confusing

Primarily we have the repainting models. If you want to trade like Eelfranz did, together with his entry and exit you need to use one of the repainting versions. Thats because they just update in the candle close. If you try to trade like eelfranz and you can see the tdi moving together with the latest candle it will confuse you, it will go apartment, move up and proceed down so you are going to be thinking all the time should I come out. In case you have the subject just to check at the finish of the timeframe you are working on, then by all means use the live version, however most new traders are too worried about their trades not to peek It is no good at all for backtesting with so don't try. In fact many tdi's are not very great for backtesting and you are better off with a simulator, there are various ones oncliqforexat no cost, that way you can see it moving in real time while you practise.

They are the Traders Dynamic Index, TDI Red Green, TDI Watchdog and TDI Red Green Alerts Mod all those only update at the close of the candle. Someone called Plamendp made the watchdog and based on eelfranz's rules, it will also give you the value of the cross, it will not matter how large or small your tdi window is. This is his post in 2011 about utilizing the repainting variant. Https://www.cliqforex.com/trading-sy...iders-den.html

Next we have the original setting variations but real time so it will move as the open candle moves. - self explanatory really. All these are the TDI_RT as well as also the TDI-RT-Clone

Then we have the new synergy pro version which has different settings to the previous models and can also be real time.

I have also attached the tdi-mtf made by Xaphod that's what I use on my charts.

You need to try them out to see which you are more comfortable trading with, either the repainting variant, reside version or the one with various settings, like anything else its what you see things.

Edit 2: I have posted the template I use with no mtf tdi on there so this post doesn't get too big here: https://www.cliqforex.com/general-fo...-yr-notes.html
