Can anyone be kind enough to help develop this indior further? I'm interested in the indior generating arrows and alerts on intensity breakout cycles. Thanks guys. image file
In case I did a bad job of explaining what I want clearly enough...

(1). We are only interested in using the maximum pub worth of a previous completed bull/bear cycle in reference.
(2). Arrows and Alerts are only triggered from the current ongoing cycle each time a candle sticks whose potency worth surpasses the maximum pub value of the previously completed bull/bear cycle utilized as benchmark in (1) above.

quote If I understand properly, your idea is that the indior generates and alert at any stage following the arrow has appeared. My understanding instead is, as per the OP's first petition, an arrow AND alert is generated (talking long) when a green pub creates which is higher than the previous greatest red pub. Regrettably, for some bug or incomplete code, the popup alert keeps appearing each succeeding green bar so long as it's still higher compared to the previous greatest red bar. Opposite for shorts. Yes, 4fx you're understand my rationale. Seems that you understand the indior much better than that I really do

You and I the alerts are having diminishing return given how many occasions on the exact same arrow they can occur. For me, I'd only be interested in a new arrow formation for a 1, 2 or mmm maybe 3 bars/candlesticks max . . No matter the time period . .

Thanks for your remark, as it explained this for me and yes. . We wait . . 3.30

quote MT7 that really is a question/request . . The question is all about how many pubs back is this indior looking to then generate the alarms? I simply did a filthy and down count and the highest was 5 . . Which truly is not that useful for my trading egy. The petition are the ability to choose, additionally alarms true/false, number of times that the alert is generated after the arrow forms. For me 5 or more is not useful 1-3 a lot more useful . . Can this be done? Or can it be there as Variable - Length set at 5?
If I understand properly, your idea is the indior generates an alert at some point after the arrow has emerged. My understanding instead is, as per the OP's initial petition, an arrow AND alert is generated (talking long) when a green bar creates which is higher than the previous highest red bar. Unfortunately, for some bug or incomplete code, the popup alert keeps emerging every subsequent green bar as long as it's still higher than that previous highest red bar. Opposite for shorts. That's why you are under the belief that the popup appears some bars afterwards too. I'm anxiously awaiting our friend MT7 to fix this issue, as things become really confusing when following distinct pairs.

    EDIT: corrected a typo

This is Version 3.20 of the indior. You may change the colors of these up/down arrows, and enable/disable alerts, emails and cellular notifiions. document
