Here is the way I will be using your occ. It appears to function welll. This is based on the premise that when you get into a trade that you would like to use lagging indiors (moving averages) and non lagging indiors to get out (cci).

I have 34c/34o hull moving averages. If they cross they produce the red and green entry arrows. Each buy/sell order is set with 3 units.

Next I have 24 cci and 2 pubs at 150. In case a 150 pub is gone over by the cci and then comes back then it generates exit points that are yellow and the blue.

Each time an exit stage is reached it sells a unit. If there is single a entry hit before all 3 units are offered it sell the units and enters the trade.

Each pair needs the 150 pub optimized for its volitilty, this isnt the best for gbp/usd but I wanted to display a medium result page

    Hi Witchazel,

I have moved to 55EMAClose xover 56EMAOpen, and that I think it gives marginally better signs than 34TMAOpen xover 34TMAClose. Give it a try!

If anybody wants Hull's Moving Average for VT, allow me to know, I had written it earlier and may post it.

    Witchazel,

I had to delete your chart is was too large. Max is 600 x 600 and yours was messing around the screen display.

Please upload it smaller. thanks scott

    2Blink

why don't you post your variant of Hull's MA at New Indior Postings anyhow?

  6. #26
2blink - can you elaborate in your new system you say is superior to OCC?

  7. #27
I can't quite elaborate yet for 3 reasons:

    1) It is still in the alpha stage, and so I don't know if the outcomes in the end when trailing stops. Are added if it will be effective.

    2) I have not found an optimized timeframe for it yet. . (Assuming there is anything)

    3) I have not decided if I will talk about it or not. .

Gosh twoblink when you get it to the point of satisfying the first 2 criteria, I sure hope you share.... That's kind of the point of a forum. . It is a Trillion dollar market. I doubt there would be anyway it could saturate the market...

    I'm cheering for you... Scott

I can't quite elaborate yet for 3 reasons:

    1) It is still in the alpha stages, and therefore I don't know if the outcomes in the conclusion when trailing stops. If it will still be as effective, are added.

Two) I have not found an optimized timeframe for it yet. . (Assuming there is such a thing)

    3) I have not decided if I will share it or not. .

I am hoping I discuss too!! However, I have not shared, when asked. But I must admit I get freeloaders than I anticipated. .

The premise is I place something, we talk it, make modifiions, add and subtract to maximize, and then everybody gains. .

Some appear to feel some of us owe them to discuss. . Which is one that has turned me off, a horrible attitude IMHO.

Another part is I love to share, when I understand it that way, I'm in a position to answer questions, and not have cognative dissonance. .

1 Attachment(s) According to the Initial OCCv1, but using Hull's Moving Average instead of EMA or TMA.

    Attached.

Please folks, give some Helpful feedback. It takes me a lot of time to talk about most of this, time that I might be using to test out new things. I am sharing in hopes of obtaining opinions. When I keep posting, and folks keep asking matters without giving me feedback, I will stop posting. .
