thread: Micro martingale with small capital

quote Evveryone talks about buildup of pips but a egy, similar to this one, which may sniper little number of pips is what makes martingale a must use. Assuming that ones trade expectancy is rather high for those low pip count position then martingale won't just regain your loss but even allow you to make profit with adverse pips. I for one am really interested in seeing your job ends up.
You're surely right, but for instance, in case you missed it : the author has 2 projects, one is your Micro Martingale as in the thread title, the other one is called Revo Power, where the author posted the EA also within this thread.

In the quoted text I was referring to the next job - Revo Power. There the Martingale part is optional. I was attempting it in backtest - just with standard settings - and the results were less profit and greater drawdown.

That doesn't automatically mean that Martingale alternative in Revo Power is bad per se, possibly with optimized settings you might get a better result. But I didn't test it.

    quote Is Micro egy in Revo just if I activate the Martingale function (disabled by default)? Will try signal 0.5 on a different account. So far, I am quite happy with signal 5, produced some more smaller gains without any errors. :-}
Evveryone talks about accumulation of pips but a system, much like this one, that may sniper small number of pips is what makes martingale a must utilize. Assuming that ones trade expectancy is quite high for all those low pip count ranking then martingale won't just recover your loss but even permit you to earn net profit with adverse pips. I for one am very interested in seeing your job ends up.

quote Can you stop little sign EA on news events or would you compensate with a different instance of this EA with greater sign?
Not yet from the filter, I just let go to discover the way the OP if the profit / loss hasn't yet been checked.
However, if normal conditions are still okay.

Maybe in the event the filter, particularly for small signal will be better.

Correct, temporary title (Vtr=Virtual) Small signal for normal condition, pretty great.
Do you stop small signal EA on news events or would you compensate with a different instance of the EA with greater signal?

    Mrgmrg,
once I place the EA - Mrg_Micro_Martingale_V1_01 on dwell account, it provides a message that it functions in Demo account just. Perhaps you have disabled it??

quote In BT only stable with 3% risk, if put greater it will draw account down, even on greater TF.
Yes, even if MM is raised, if you fulfill long sideways, will have problems with endurance equity.
If MM is reduced, Stoplos could be raised or Grid raised.
    For extreme moves relatively safer.

Men While awaiting the improve Micro Martingale (and Revo), can try out the following Low Profit but my be more stable. Rule (Default EU Leverage 1: 500) 1. Transactions are only one by one until closure by trailing (except floating) 2. If minus of Marting_Grid (25) will be Open Hedging using Lotsize tiered. ===gt; when it is profit 12% near all. 3. If the next trade minus 25, OP will be discriminated contrary to the next trade with lotsize tiered .... etc.. If it's profit 12% near all. When utilizing MM is larger, use Time framework gt; 1 Maybe ugly if...
In BT only steady with 3 percent risk, if set higher it will draw account down, even on greater TF.

    Guys
While awaiting the improve Micro Martingale (and Revo), can try the following

Low Profit but my be stable.

Rule (Default EU Leverage 1: 500)
    1. Transactions are only one by one until close by trailing (except floating)
    2. If minus of Marting_Grid (25) will be Open Hedging using Lotsize tiered. ===gt; when it is profit 12% near all.
    3. If the next transaction minus 25, OP will be hedging against the next transaction with lotsize tiered .... etc..
If it is profit 12% near all.

When utilizing MM is bigger, use Time frame gt; 1

Maybe tragic if total OP is greater than 6 (Sideways prolonged) but there's good signal, can not OP until all closing.

** With exactly the very same parameters could be run for non Hedging by changing:
    1. Marting_Multipiion = 1.5
    2. Marting_OneWay = true

    Thanks for the input.
If prepared to get the right setting for FT please.

While I am looking for a solution according to your input.
In time, I'll allow you to know.

There's a picture of why at the time FT touched price, on the matter when BT untouched, because the widening of the spread (dynamic) and at the time of Static.
