thread: Fresh Start...

Wanted to start a journal. I will try and scalp pairs that have low spreads a little prior to the NY session starts, probably from 6am-11am EST.. I don't have any clue how this is going to perform but I decided I should give it a go.

I also trade a more conservative style and I will probably list those trades in the event the scalping doesnt work to my own liking.

For SCALP only
5 Minute chart.
Slope Direction Line-(Period 9, Method 3, Price 0)
Stochastic's -- (5,3,4)

When both indiors agree I'm likely to follow. Really dont believe there's a need to worry about the daily trend since I'm opting to get a few pips. Its likely to be a mental SL.

Maybe this will end up being profitable, but I have my doubts...

EU closed for a 50 pips
GJ currently at 276 pips, locked in at 220 pips.

Once I say pips, I mean that this is the total to be obtained.
For Example EU Short.
Open @ 1.5578
Closed @ 1.5528
Profit 50 pips.
I only explain this as I commerce multiple lots occasionally with distinct TP levels. .

Yeah so scalping sucks!!! I applaud everyone who scalps and is effective in doing so but this is not for me.... At this time I know....

I created 3 successful trades this morning that we#8217;re shorts. I decided to base my trades off of H1 timeframe. However, what I understood is that you need to be fast to pull the trigger or it may go bad, really quickly. Now I don#8217;t have the problem with that, my difficulty with scalping is I'm using such high risk and I'm not comfortable with this morning felt like gambling then trading8230;. Granted I had better luck this morning rather than going to the casinos, lol

I determined I'm going to use this thread to post my other trades.

Currently short EU from 1.5783 secured in a minimum 50 pips profit.
Currently GJ from 203.21 secured in a minimum 220 pips profit.



I shall post some charts and a number of my methodology later tonight if I get some time.

Yes indiors. On 4hr I mainly enter based off the SDL and mostly use the Stoch on lower TF for greater entries.
