I now realize I need to keep a journal of all of my trading for future reference.
Nevertheless, instead of blindly producing my own file, I had been wondering if anyone would think about archiving thier EMPTY excel file so that I along with other newbies would get some idea on how to assemble our journal.
I read that you shoul also have a subject for Marker Sentiment on that day, how can I find out this information, is there like one sentiment for several of the different pairs? Or each currency pair have thier own sentiment? If so where and how to I understand what the sentiment is?
Have you tried the search feature of the forum, it's pretty neat and may aid you, or you could always create your own although it may involve a little work on your part...
This isn't hard at all to do, I am not sure why you have not been able to perform it yourself? Simply create a new xls file, and tag the first row columns how you want, then simply fill the underneath rows together with the corresponding info daily.
I believe you are speaking about Market Sentiment, not Marker Sentiment that characterized by Investopedia is The feeling or tone of a market (i.e. audience plogy). It's shown by the activity and price movement of securities. For example, increasing prices would indie a bullish market sentiment. A bearish market sentiment could be indied by falling prices.
So basically just watch unique timeframes and see if there's any bullish or bearish consensus between them. That's the way I know it.
It would be best if you took a couple of tutorials about the best way to use Excel, lots of them on the net, or you could get a book from the library instead.
Do you have a search on Google about this? Like FX trading diary or trading diary filetype:xls? Since there are lots of resources.
Please don't expect to get spoonfeed about the simplest things.
Thank you for the thoughts, as you recommended I went ahead and left one of my very own, now I would very much appreciat it if you could look it again and determine if I want to add anymore areas to it or it's just fine as it is.
My diary is similar to yours however where u listing a screenshot/gif - I have a movie w/ comment.
I save time by not needing to figure out why, sentiment etc.. I just record the comment. I do not record the exit - although I have been giving some thought to doing so and incorporating into the diary.
Additionally, you may want to incorporate something similar to what Que has developed. https://www.cliqforex.com/trading-sy...s-success.html
into your journal. I ujse a similar but am working on incorporating Que's version as it is exceptional for my own version.
I checked out both of your trading journals that's pretty straight forward. I would like one I can customize what egies I had been using and acquire ratios.
Does anyone know if there is one floating about out there?
