quote EURUSD, GBPUSD and USDJPY would definitely be my best 3 for newer traders to start out with.
What are the motives? GBP/USD lately was affected by politics that newbies could have a hard time following it.

EUR/USD at this time is very range-bound more often than not
All currency pairs are range-bound more often than not.

All of major currency pairs, in the future over any certain time frame, are trending/ranging about the very same proportions of the moment.

Given the OP's circumstances and time-zone, I recommend EUR/USD as first selection and GBP/USD as second choice, for their low spreads.

    I would avoid JPY pairs.

I would avoid any pairs using high dealing costs.

(My third choice would probably be USD/CAD).

Euro is so volatile but I have maximum result by using this trading pair once I was a newbie. Any trading pair could be profitable if you know how to manage money when trading practically.

quote Why do you believe EUR/USD is the ideal choice for a newbie? I find it volatile and difficult to trade.
So many traders who are especially novices feel uneasy when using EURUSD since its volatility. As a scalper I have to quite this currency and today I am searching for lowest spreads pair that may make me profitable by scalping that brings profit very quickly.

That's a great argument for using EUR/USD and I wholeheartedly agree. If a newbie decides to concentrate on scalping EUR/USD could actually be very helpful, it had not happened to me earlier.

EUR.USD is your ideal choice! Besides, now traders may utilize others major Forex currencies because of low trading spread! From the beginning session, new traders will need to use largely limited number of trading pairs for studying; a long trading list would not be helpful.

Hello, I am planning to trade intra-day, checking the news and following verified trends (at least in theory ). I'd like to get really acquainted with a single pair and demonion it for a while before I embark in the real currency arena. Which should I focus on and what time of the day is best. I reside in Florida (est time). Your experience is appreciated. Thank you
I would advice to you start with EURUSD XAGUSD or a different pair, where do you feel you feel comfortable and understand some fundamentals.

Sorry mate, dont blame some trading pair, euro is actually appropriate for all sorts of trading egies with scalping, I believe you had cash management problem, otherwise it's actually feasible to make profit with absolutely by scalping.
Scalping success depend on lowest trading spreads but eurousd always contains high volatility which is actually a great problem to scalp in a proper way. However, I don't understand why you considered euro is appropriate for scalping. Have got maximal effect by supplementing with euro? Please share the trading chart
