I have connected an indior not an EA. Do create the indior work, in metatrader go to the indior section under custom indiors you should observe the AO indior you just inserted. (note: after installing the indior onto your computer, you have to restart metatrader for the new indior to show up in the listing )

When the bar moves over 0 you go long opposite for brief.

Okay thanks. I really do think this is very good for short-term egy to achieve 5-10 pips per place.

to be more accurate I await a few numbers above or beneath 0, about 10 and -10, I should have stated that in the start.

Where to check/see the amount 10 or -10 there?

I just watched -0.000xx not -10 as you told...

I've been using this system for the past couple of times with excellent results more then 40 pips per day. Back testing shows me that this system may create great results. I think an expert would do extremely well for this, if anyone is interested to code it. This goes the machine:

Eurusd 15 min chart
AO settings 2, 15
stop loss 15 pips including spread.
Take a transaction once it moves under or above 10 - wait for the pub to complete.
Take profit is dictated by reverse and stop (this where an EA will make decent use)
trail 10 pips.
If you have 3 consecutive losses then decide on a take profit of 10 pips for the subsequent 3 trades.

Thats it.

This seems like a very simple egy compared to many that we see and ideal for an EA if there is no discretion involved.

May be prudent to add in some multiple time frame parameters as a filter to quit taking trades against any huge trends like the ones we've seen in the previous week. Otherwise could be all set.

I have not done any analysis on this so can't comment as to it's efficacy, however, if it is as good as dav12028 says then it could possibly be a practical tool in your trading toolbox.

Have you got the consequences of your backtesting dav that you could talk about?
