Greetings. Scott you're waaaaay to sort. Though the kind of Harmonics I'm privy to is rather different than choosing price patterns out...I don't consider myself a expert in the sort of Harmonics the above have mentioned.

I deal mainly in the theory of Harmonic Beats as taught by one of my own trading mentors Jared Martinez. His 20 ish year old theory says that all currencies proceed concerning a pattern of progress and retracement in just a certain percentage of 60 pips (60pips = 1HB). That is exactly what I utilize in my daily routine and my breakout trading which I typicaly commerce on intraday charts.

Sooooo....in keeping in the context of the first article? Well I don't think I have any intellegent point to add except the Oregon Coast has lots of wonderful crab, our temples do possess bats, and the butterflys will return this spring.

Lou? That boy has some Rocket Scientist stuff on harmonics/time-cycles. Cool way and stuff !

Happy trading your Harmonics. I know they may be powerful instruments, simply have yet to make time/desire to understand the intricacies of patters beyond straightforward bar/candle stuff as I'm still more of a level-breakout trader.

Clam if you wish to study more then straightforward harmonic price patterns, you will find yahoo groups that deal with more advanced sort of material. Only go there and get all the books you can Two groups I have in my browser's history are gann_harmonic_traders and gannsghost.

And then in the event that you feel you're suddenly hooked in this material, get whatever by Michael Jenkins, I highly recommend itdid wonders for me.

Clam, I spent about a year on Brad Cowan's Stock Market Geometry which is a course that covers heliocentric planetary alignments with Commodity market cycles as well as harmonics and sympatheitic resonance and multi dimensional geometry (time isn't linear).

Its all interesting stuff but its quite heavy and would take decades to master properly. I never got there and felt the possibility of earning any money with it had been very slender. Despite the time I spent I don't have any regrets because it had been intellectualy stimulating.

    Good luck
