Depending on what TF you're using here and depending on per trade minimum revenue expectations (which determines the kind of trader you are), you could wait until a true five candle Fractal forms at the top, prior to entering the brief - specified the space anticipated from the retracement back towards stage C. It's technically a conventional short harmonic entry having a conventional bullish fractal trigger. Use whatever stop fits your own money management egy.
Can you point to five candle Fractal instance, please?
Is it something as men present in these 2 videos

I have not been in a position to draw up patterns for gartley or alike patterns.
why? It's simple once you get a bit of experience.

Google harmonic patterns construction blocks and in the event that you're able to find the lessons you need to like, I can not remember the exact link since its at home.

    Hi ,

I was expecting to get some ideas on harmonic trading. I have been following Jason Stapleton's videos lately and I am currently reading Scott Carney's Harmonic Trading. Because harmonic trading (when plotted on a chart) is quite visual, I think this might be a fantastic instrument in my trading toolkit. I wished to ask though:

    - Can Be Forex Currency trading a profitable trading egy for those on the forum?

    - I can not help but think that the use of Fibonacci sequences in certain respects is a bit mysterious. When explaining harmonic trading I get a lot of opinions about numerology and mysticism. What are peoples thoughts on this?

    - Lastly, as I am very new to harmonic trading, does anybody have any good ideas about starting things in terms of resources (publiions, movies, sites) etc?

    Cheers!

The problem with butterfly's and snakes is the fact that when they develop one wing too big they can't fly... and they wreck.

    Hi Ras al Ghul,

Is harmonic investing in a profitable trading egy for those on the forum?
I have been learn harmonics since 2012. I took 4 months of shedding before the ink began to go from a lot of red to a lot of black, therefore it is possible but lots of learning since you understand

    - that I can not help but believe that the use of Fibonacci sequences in some respects is a bit mystical. When describing harmonic trading to others, I get a lot of opinions about numerology and mysticism. What are peoples thoughts on this?
Because there is a lot to understand I think your buddy is saying that because they don't understand it themselves and to them it is more foreign. I don't blame them for thinking this way, it does have a learning curve if you do it correctly but so does anything else. I wouldn't say Fibonacci is new maybe they are just decided to create their own method function or aren't very open minded.

    - Finally, as I'm new to harmonic trading, does anyone have any great ideas about starting things concerning resources (publiions, videos, websites ) etc? Cheers!
    Books/sites

larry presavento - commerce what you see. An easy read but will leave you desiring more and never did believe that it gave me anything complete. Between this one and scotts novel I would select larry's.

Harmonic trader pdf - that is the specific opposite to larry's book. Its very specialized (that may be good for some) but also very dry and boring to get through. Anybody I spoke to has not make it to the conclusion and give up because it deals mainly with shares its very detailed saying when price turns at exactly 18.52. To my surprise there is a lot of unanswered questions. In terms of the website and membership you get a report that is some what interesting on a couple hinges but lacks personal interaction and email response. Every couple of months scott might come online but for the most part its left handed and mails go unanswered.

Fxgroundworks - they have a magazine onto their website in pdf and can be free with a few advertisements. Over all it is quite good and talks a lot more about the plogy of trading and they have videos on their primary website in the base for all those patterns. Even as a free source it would be fantastic if they had been more detailed for people just getting into it. Most of the value here comes in their mentoring and construction rankings / sms alarms which are incredibly useful so that you get exactly what you pay for.

There are various additional resources but to me these are the best 3. I have been through all of these, I possess the publiions (both larry's and scott's) and had a membership using harmonic trader and still have one with another.

    Hi snowmantum,

Thanks so much for your thoughts on my questions. Really appreciated!

I haven't heard of these tools before, so I will definitely give them a glance. I believe you make a good point about the learning curve required with Fibonacci and harmonic trading. I guess, even for myself, I haven't been able to explore the science behind the theory. But I am quite keen to examine these regions more and hopefully develop the knowledge and ability to use the methods to my trading.

I'll keep an eye on this thread for more insight to the Forex trading egy and hopefully, after some study, I will be able to contribute some ideas about pattern identifiion and commerce opportunities.

    Thanks again,

    Ras

I've tried harmonic trading two years ago and the most bothersome problem that confronted me would be that Harmonic patterns, which grow in various timeframes, may show conflicting signals.you may see a bullish and bearish pattern in two instant timeframes. This created big confusion in my mind

also I couldn't find the end of the pattern (sadly my s.l. was hit several times) as there's no guarantee that a harmonic pattern may finish as expected. One of those legs can extend more resulting in a collapse of this pattern. Furthermore, the pattern can also change into another pattern.

You need more training to Manage fibonacci projection and I advice you to focus on Just One pattern until you master it, then Select another pattern
