quote If you've got a cartload of pips going from the opposite direction STOP!!! There's something quite wrong with trading program and your own emotions. If you let the market control you and your emotions you may place yourself up to fail.
LOL I understand but frequently, when newbies see the retracement play out, they begin to panic and shut out on all trades right away. The point being that in the event that you let emotions take over, believe me, you're not going to see much of a profit. .

For me the worst feeling comes when you watch your profit increase and then vanish.
That happens to just about everyone..chalk it up into a steep learning curve. .

My fruion is the lack of proper trading tools, in other contexts I am used to software that works almost perfectly and it is quite flexible to suit any requirement.
I find it horrible that in Foreign Exchange currency trading platforms are available only on Windows, have a very static user experience and can be customised in a really limited manner.

I am a software engineer and now I am used to better SW, this is my biggest fruion.

    Hey Sandy-pip,

Yeah no worries I had that same problem too several decades back. The solution is understanding how to control fear and or greed.

I hate missing transactions. Being stopped out is fine however if I did not take a trade and it was a winner then I really gets to me!

I had this problem too. I had been scared to pull the trigger to avoid taking a loss.

I'm in exactly the exact same time zone. I have made adjustments to trade London hours and some of New York, but you don't have to do this you are able to trade the Asian session. Simply select the pairs that move during the time: Auzzie, Kiwi and Yen pairs will probably work for you.
