Here link may assist you: http://wiki.playonlinux.com/index.ph...1-kit-trust.so #8203;Because you use playonlinux, it may differ from wine, so I have no experience here. But hope it helps
    I did

    sudo apt-get purge playonlinux
    sudo apt-get purge wine
    sudo apt-get autoremove
    sudo apt-get autoclean

I expect this eliminates any traces of playonlinux or wine from my system, will install and reboot wine from software manager again and assess

quote No. You need to install lost library so that metatrader installer can get the job done. In terminal, copy and pass wine /path/to/mt4_installer.exe It'll show you the missing variant of lib gnutls. Then you can go to http://packages.ubuntu.com/ hunt and download then install it. (Linux Mint relies on Ubuntu)
    I got this error

quote Because of libgnutls. This link can help you: https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/60949 You can replie a installed metatrader 4 folder into linux. I run metatrader 4 on archlinux i686 without difficulty, (but I have same problem using x64 before, solved by pacman -S lib32-gnutls).
Is it since I have a 64bit linux version ?

I am on linux mint 17.2 xfce, using playonlinux I have difficulty operating mt4 instal it has stuck searching for servers and asks for proxy server whalt to perform
within my expierience that happens to one of 2 types of Metatrader installers. This occurred to me with a installer out of a specific broker. Afterwards I used.
Actualy it is irrelevant which installer you use. You can conect to each broker on each MT installment

    gt; use another installer

Install Windows within VirtualBox.... You won't look back.... Assuming your pc can handle it and you can find a windows ISO image.
