    Trading Journal 2010

This is my diary, which I am putting out there for the world. Lately, I had been introduced to the world of Forex with a close friend and I love it. My trading's primary focus is to the Euro/USD . As I possibly can as live, I plan to post. The reason for starting this diary is to clarify my thought process and to explain why the trade was taken by me. Thank you for taking the time.

    Sincerely,
    Mike Z

Ok, just tonight I stated with a sell limit order at 1.33850. The take profit is at 1.32850, stop loss is at 1.34450. The main reason was because I feel that the Euro is bearish right now due to what's taking place with Greece. I also see resistance in the 1.33900 degree. Lets see what happens here.... My chart will be posted.

The market limit hit over the evening and also the Euro shorted itself throughout my take profit at 1.32850, leading to an 100 pip trade. My first trade was a victory!

Last night whilst trading, I took a buy limit on the Euro in 1.31500. Nevertheless this trade completely went through my stop in 1.30500. The leverage on the trade was .20. I believe that the uncertainity with Greece was the reason that it broke the support line, leading it to its lowest level since April of 2009.

This afternoon I learned another valuable lesson which was never to go against your style of trading. I do 100 pip trade profits, and place my stop losses at 100. I was over confident and decided to perform a 150 pip trade profit. It ended up going up to 110 pips in my favor, but never reached my own take profit. I got home from work, the trade went. Learned a great deal from this trade, basically that if I'd have kept to my own style, this would have been a trade, and also my overconfidence did me.

I am going to stay after the bearish trend on the Euro. It seems that the excitement of the Euro using the bailout has finished after a day. Would not be suprised to see the Euro go as low as 1.20, maybe lower. Details of the transaction....

    Shorting the Euro=1.27100
    Take Profit=1.26100
    Discontinue loss 1.29000
    Leverage .20
