Oanda.
No, my platform does not have range bars, and I don't like MT4. Bricks were tried by me but did not like that they hid price movement info. I am glad that you're discovering what works nicely for you!
Do you use range bars? The moment I shifted I enhanced my entrance,s.so my next task was overtrading and depart, still working on it, but I am fairly new to FX so I am still patient. I expect you improve in your difficulties and become an independent trader with continuous performance. I expect following loing the software I will make my own journal. Have a nice day and great luck
Sounds like a good plan. I've been trading daily baskets (searching to get strong/weak pairs and S/R), ditching poorly performing transactions, and adding great trades, and trying to maintain them before a technical departure (but generally, I get impatient and depart early about the excellent trades, and maintain the losers too long)
I've a little the same as you, I try not to forecast and analyse too much, and commerce what I watch, such as breaking s/r or divergence fracture of tl to get a couple pips counter tendency, I set alarm near this zones and just enter after verifiion. After 3 losses I'm out, and try to do max 6 transactions per day so I am much more picky. Additionally I increased my risk to 1 to 2. I try to keep it easy....but greed or fear is a bad thing , iam advancing now, so thats great, hope you will do a lot, cheers
Thank you for your kind words. I like to get of my transactions closed my London close, and goal to get each day be profitable.
My biggest challenges now are not trying to be too smart and out-guessing the market. As an example, yesterday US pre-stock market trading was down 2%. I purchased JPY, anticipating it to strengthen-- which it did during the stock market opening, and the stocks reversed and stopped higher. I KEPT EXPECTING JPYs to strengthen, while I was holding onto rising losses. Lesson learned--observe the charts, and just the charts.
Another challenge is trying to compensate for a previous loss or losses by holding commerce(s) too long rather than simply taking what the market is offering right now.
I battle with leaving a great or fantastic day of trading independently, and closing my charts. Frequently I'll open a trade after London closes for just a small profit from doing blinds me to reasons to not trade 38, and that generally goes poorly.
Hope this is helpful.
What helps one to exchange better?
It seems as if you are touching my numbers, but I begin to see something different.
You had some advice to trade little, and what I see today is that the market started to make you doing this, in its own barbarous way.
I believe that's more the side effect of loosing the value of the $ which is represented by these numbers rather than being bored with certain degree.
53 pips
Largely London session
rushed opening AJ (from yesterday's prejudice)
exhausted (might have let trades operate, particularly UJ--so obvious)
good identifiion of strong/weak pairs, and also judging choppiness
