quote Whipsaw engulfs create runners. Part of the purpose.
When I get you right the QMs you exchange must be an engulfing whipsaw pattern on greater TFs or are you talking about engulfing moves along with whipsaws.

Isnt the 2nd efforts are normally a weak one and contains high probbality to go through?

quote MCFly, I want to chime in if I may. What you have outlined here is something I have been banging on about for many years : I expect would concur that the high influence traders you mentioned quickly drifted away from crimson's original thesis regarding the whipsaw engulfing pattern. In some cases they drifted so far away it went outside the horizon. Somewhere in PIE crimson stated that Sam Seiden's zones had impacted his trading. What followed on was a discussion about employing whipsaw engulfing patterns in Seiden's zones (especially the RBD/DBR)...
Yep, not sure I would call myself a high influence trader, however, Red was doing something a bit different.

He had been marking off supply and demand zones on H4 or H1 and then waiting for M15/M5 PA Within the zone to get an entry. He would also draw trend-lines, channels, S/R and emphasize patterns on the chart to learn how much to run his scalps.

I was mainly looking at Daily / / H4 for total leadership (zones and PA) and then looking at H1 PA and reduced for an entrance (either engulfing PA or a zone) to attempt to get with a directional tendency. I took bits from a bunch of individuals through recent years.

It's hard to know how effective this could have been as a reside full time trader. Demo was a comprehensive turkey shoot that this was not a egy to run around 9-5 job. The one thing I needed to figure out was that the patience and discipline side and clear the demons out of 2013.

quote picture I should further explain. Each trader will see something different that will get their speculative juices going. I guess it comes down to what communies to you. I really don't know if Red ever place MA's on his chary but I've settled in on 4 of them; each with a very special purpose. The engulfing pattern has all sorts of shapes and with each having the same purposes. Clearing orders and filling orders. Shake out the feeble hands, fill the powerful ones. Each has their own story but their endings are the same. NFP is happening soon....Part...

    you're welcome.

I don't wanted to criticize anyone and to be fair Red and all the other said traders stated that if you want to be successful you have to learn the SD fundamentals and make it your own. Therefore it is logical and a fantastic thing that they all developed their own trading style. But while everyone respects the significance of engulfing candles the whole whipsaw engulfing thing has been failed.

quote quote image Traded the second QM on the chart. The diagonal lines on the QM's I call a whipsaw engulfing pattern; they happen everywhere. They are a masterful method of clearing orders.

    I must further explain.

Each trader will see something different that will get their speculative juices going. I guess it comes down to that which conveys to you. I don't know if Red ever place MA's on his own chary but I have settled in on 4 of these; each having a very specific purpose.

NFP is happening shortly....Part of my narrative would be to sit on the sidelines and watch the melee... Then if see a promising whipsaw engulf; tip my toe in with a small place.
