Been spending a lot of time exploring more into Cryptos. I actually had no idea how much the people is heavily invested. I thought the UK housing mania of the last 15 years was crazy but that is next level stuff.

There are absolutely tons of Youtube channels of Cypto gurus with hundreds of thousands of subscribers pumping various startup Altcoins and ICO's.

Folks are only blinding after these gurus with no idea what they're buying, with no exit egy (and not an idea how to read a price chart). A good example of the stuff. This man got lucky but I could imagine many folks will have their asses handed:

I don't think we will find a recession in 2018 since the central banks are now starting a rate hiking cycle as inflation is just beginning to pick up.

It will take a lot of rate rises to push objects back into recession and into a different astrophe (similar to 2008 but worse). In the united kingdom, householders can't deal with even a 100 basis point increase in rates before mortgage defaults cascade through the system.

The governments will not be able to bail out the system. They will either forfeit the currency or let a deflationary death spiral.

The best solution is to hedge against either scenario with everything from risky assets and into cash and gold. This may be early but best to be prepared.

I understand I've lately transitioned crypos but one I am really interested in is IOTA. This crypto fixes a lot of the issues of Bitcoin (ie - the ponzi mode mining, transaction charges, network speed etc). Even Microsoft are analyzing it's potential as more than just a digital currency.

At $3.50 per coin, this may be worth a small punt.
