    MADdash (Moving Average Distance)

What's MADdash? A timeframe dash looking at price's distance out of a moving average.

Where do I put the file? From the EXPERTS folder. It's a dashboard designed to shoot over a chart.
    Latest variant is the INDICATOR

What's the background to MADdash? Back in April I started the project. This was the parent project to csDash but because MADdash was under testing several alterations have not been required by it, steady. Consequently, its evolution is currently behind csDash that has benefited from heights of interest.

Who's tested MADdash? Thus far 919gilead. Hopefully he will chime in with comments and some discussion about its trading appliion. I haven't traded it.

What's likely to happen next? In the brief term, bug fixes I swamped with other jobs!
Ultimately, I'd love to implement some of the improvements I made in the development of csDash. I'd also like to replace the CSM logic in place of the MA distance logic (thus providing a MTF CSM).

    Exactly how does it work?

On the left hand side you have the same 8 currency groups that csDash uses.
Please bear in mind that MADdash remains finding powerful and weak pairs just like csDash, but by using a different technique.

For each timeframe, the MA distances are averaged to give a derived MA space for each currency (the main point of each of the 8 boxes)
Green means that price is above the MA, reddish means that price remains below the MA.

These based figures are then recombined in much the same manner that csDash does to give a calculated/theoretical MA space for each pair:

It is important to note that the distinction between the actual MA space of a pair and the derived MA space. They are not the same:

The pairs are then sorted in order of the derived MA space, with the pairs revealing the best space (either above or below) towards the top of the list.

You will also see a graph for each TF revealing which currencies are strongest (revealing greatest distance above the MA) and weakest (revealing greatest distance below the MA)

Finally, there is a column revealing active alarms. The alerting criteria at the moment is as follows (hard to explain, I'll Return and edit this later):
TF1 means Time Frame 1 (default is M1)
TF2 means Time Frame 2 (default is M5)TF1 base currency gt;= Alert Threshold, and TF1 quote currency lt;s -Alert Threshold, and TF2 base currency gt; TF1 base currency, and TF2 quote currency lt; TF1 quote currency

Impressive function and honestknave! I trade binary choices and I've found the MADdash to be an invaluable tool in my arsenal. I've been demo examining the dashboard over the last few days and I can honestly say that without any other indiors - only the MADdash with default configurations - I've averaged an 83% success rate. This is a great step up from my conventional system that has been averaging appx 72%. But with all the MADdash,...
    You're welcome

So... for the last transactions. You waited for approximately 'before London open' 9:30 and assessed the strength meter on 5 minutes and 15 minutes ( Dash ) , assessed the colour of the boxes for GBP along with the others. You recognized that GBP is red and the others have more green and then placed the transactions after checking the higher Time Frames a well?

Would you talk me through the implementation, please? You can DM me https://twitter.com/RobertSpiridon

Just trying to understand the Procedure. I enjoy the indior but I'm not entirely sure on how to use it. I think I might enter late or too early.
