    Kashif,

You have all the indiors and all you have to do is change the settings to whatever you want. My template isn't needed by you. In the old setting I'd cross of MAs but at the current one I've the MA of high and low. I am certain that that you are aware of how to do that because in the event that you do not then you need to return to the fundamental. And no offence meant please.

    Cheers

    Hello tantor1973,

MADdash was designed for a big display.

In the future, I might well do a condensed version but for now, sadly, it will have to stay the way it's (not enough hours in the day!)

For anyone who missed a great post here from 919gilead, the edit on the way he uses MADdash in his trading style.
    Thanks George!

quote Well thank you for your great work. Please do not take this the wrong way but in my personal opinion the idea is great but the methodology is on the side that is wrong. Adding the pip distances of unique pairs or averaging them wouldn't give an accurate strength value. Some pairs generally proceed 25 pips up and down compared to a moving average, while some other pairs generally proceed 10 pips, compared to the same moving average. Hello GoldTheHun,

Thanks for your comments - I read your thoughts as a constructive criticism, so all is good. I believe free and open discussion/criticism is the thing that leads us to create new and improved techniques.

I will certainly bear your thoughts in mind about z-scores for any future development, but for today I'm going to let MADdash operate as it is and find out in which 919gilead can take it... plus it is a convenient excuse to cover the fact I do not have much spare time right now

Thanks once again to your comments

He published a 15M chart and you can compare with the M15 miniature chart on the same chart I posted and see whether even if you entered late, you might still have made pips Price on my chart was 0.75368 if I took the screenshot and his was 0.74970 when he shot his screenshot, a additional 39 pips

It's about 10.49 pm my time, and I am going for a rest and will be back around US open.

quote A much better idea if you would like people to read your upcoming article is to compose it following the true discussion ... not editing past article ... because current readers will not be informed of the editing. BTW, thank you for the great job you're doing on these Dashes
Thank you Ferru for the proposal. I was planning to post but forgot it was my son's piano recital and simply returned home.

    quote Yes, measured in pips
Well thank you for your fantastic work. Please do not take this the wrong way but in my personal opinion the idea is great however the methodology is really on the side that is wrong.

Adding the pip distances of unique pairs collectively or averaging them would not offer an accurate strength value. Some pairs generally proceed 25 pips down and up compared to a moving average, while some pairs generally proceed 10 pips, compared to the same moving average. Your method would put more emphasis on more volatile pair, compared to the less explosive pair. Therefore the volatile pair would create a bias on your outcomes.

So I think your egy would be more accurate using z-score values. You can easily add z-score worth of all British Pounds pairs for example, and the result would be a right value for that currency (math wise).

But if you use z-scores I do not think you can compute the derived value of your egy.
I simply wanted to earn a point. Thank you
