It simply means the important thing here is to have PROPER EDUCATION and APPLICATION. All trader must understand why such thing happen on technical facet nor fundamental but how you see it on your own perspective.

quote IMHO, holding overnight is just risk if you are over-leveraged. In case you have sized your own position an overnight gap won't however a dent in your account. No different than day trading as soon as an unexpected sharp price move makes you get slipped.
But it's risk that you want to monitor when the market is not even going to be shing. Unless you are using such little leverage during sessions in your trades it does not even matter if you are -investing- if the market's dead or not. The simple fact is that trades are worth the squeeze unless you are residing in the Eastern Hemisphere. And when we are contemplating weekends to be overnight...

You are either tracking the trades or you are not and that decides how much additional risk there is. Risk is generally hedged out immediately.

quote.. .On my winning times when I normally would have stopped trading after a win/few bit wins, I continued trading using 25 percent of my normal size (Only to keep trading and not considering the money at all)...
good thought. I only reduced my risk overall but with the exact same goal, but also because I'm still making mistakes that are recurrent, the strain is a lot lower and I'm still on the right path, so I like to think...
