Is GFT known for a trading platform. Has anyone experienced issues with GFT'S trading software, such as losing login often and not having the ability to execute trades with no pending times ? I have discovered this to be true throughout the past several months. I was constantly calling the dealing desk to execute trades.Does anyone have any feedback on this ?
Yup, I concur with Piphacker, I use there Prime appliions in addition to dealbook, and haven't had any problems whatsoever...
I concur. The previous 6 months or so, in 2008 ... I've had nothing but connection issues with Dealbook360. Constant dis-connections. Dis-connections which were longer than 1-2 hours! Called support/dealing desk and the only solution which was given, was in reference to some Comcast internet connection being down... however it could not been, since I called support/dealing desk. Due to all of the prior server dis-connects, I keep GFT on speed dial up through my Skype (out/in) account, my mobile phone, and mobile internet ... are around stand-by notice.:
I must give GFT kudo's for service, when my platform is down.They do offer a 24 hour dealing desk and support providers. A lot of broker's offer assistance through live or email chat,which can be crazy. I've called GFT 2-3Am with question/concerns. Usually, the minute the platform goes down, I call and place/cancel an order together with the table, which are normally helpful and will refund/correct pricing mistakes, should I call as soon as it occurs.
I'have Attempted demo GFT DealbookWeb. It is not so fast to utilize for me.
Perhaps I need more time, but.... First contact not so excellent.
Now I shall try Dealbook360....
A question included all brokers: with real account there are generally issues (every day?) That induce to call helpdesk?

I never experienced with this problem. Anyhow there could be one motive and that is your internet connection. Make sure that you are trading with high speed internet connection. Contact with their aid center
