Backpropagation

Hi,

I have recently joined this forum and I must say I am impressed with the mindset of it's members, and the amount of useful information here.

I do have a question, although I see there were some prior discussions (I did an internet search), and I am not positive if there is a brief answer for this.
Hate to deliver such cliché issue, but I was wondering if people are willing to share their expertise with Neural Nets.

My hunts here brought results about people using forcasting tools based on NNs and people speaking about trading egies executed into NNs. That is not exactly what I was looking for...

I am more interested to know if people here have attempted to construct Neural Nets to actually discover new routines, but let's say not necessarily successfully or not exactly what they were looking for.
