    From today's news:

    Individuals can now only buy foreign currency in Iceland on proof of a valid travel ticket abroad, and firms must apply to the Central bank demonstrating they want the cash for essential foreign purchases such as gas, food and ne.

    This is very frightening news and don't want to just dismiss them as a knee jerk response from a nation going bankrupt.

    But I am still asking. In case the same measure was imposed on the U.S.A.. How would for example, a company like Ford proceed if it was illegal for them to buy # but that it was required to pay the payroll of their U.K. surgeries (just an example fellows).

    Can they knowingly break the law?
