Wow. You guys are really hard on each other.
To the OP. Trading forex is tough. You have to understand what happening all around the world, not just in your own country. Examine the forum calendar regular (before investing ). Funny thing is the market actually moves on vacations when volume is thin. Times everybody is content to take time off.
Up until a few years ago I think I would be right in saying you could buy, or go.
Then came the retail invesors paradise together with the possibility of shorting everything.
I am just wondering how much time it will be before we could bet on . Now I would have accepted my broker to the cleansers!!
We just require some of the EA men to create one for it
It's 1 thing I don't know....
As always in forex anything can happen....
You will find sometimes that if there is no quantity there is no move. . .but at times it moves a lot... since there's absolutely no liquidity in opposite positions since there is noone buying the selling or sells the buys. So that the market moves quicker if some big bank doesn't follow the holidays rule.
Analizing the small timeframes on a holidays day gives you an notion of what forex should be without large sharks eating little investors.
Also... I don't know but maybe next evening to a holiday day price can be considered just like a gap if price has moved a lot from past labor day?
