thread: Lets move the market!

this really is somewhat crazy thought but I suppose everybody here in this forum is trying to earn money in Currency Market with more or less success. Everyone is trying to locate the ideal system . I find it quite hard... I hear folks talking about how big dogs are moving the market and earn money readily....

Thus, the concept is really simple: let us move the market. If the market does not go where we want, let us force the market to go our leadership. If we all sell (or buy) EURUSD at particular time (all at the exact same time) it might go the market 20 - 30 pips.

The question isif we unite and throw $100 mil. To the market can it be possible? Would it transfer the price enough to earn some cash?

If everybody of us can use 0.5 - 1.0 normal lot we would want 1000 - 2000 retail traders to create $100 mil. package.

If this would move the market by 20 or more pips, we can earn $200 on 1 lot. If we get it done 2 - 3 times a day, that will be sufficient for me ($500 -
$600).

Picture that: we create a private discussion group and a person (moderator) would post to the group sell at 10:00 GMT, buy at 12:00 GMT etc.. We would just comply with the articles.

I understand, it seems too simple... I am thinking about this for some time and I would like to hear some comments on this.... I am not positive whether that's possible or not... just some food for thinking, maybe this can lead to something...

I don't know how far you believed your plan, but there's something quite flawed in the sell at precisely the exact same time program.

Imagine that you were actually able to afford to have enough individuals to sell EUR/USD in precisely the exact same moment, and push the market from. . Let say from 1.3100 into 1.3070.

Transferring the market just like that actually suggests that the first one to market is selling at around 1.3100 and the newest will have their orders filled around 1.3070.
Putting it another way, only the very first ones will be in profit after that move.

Also, after everyone have a market position opened, what happen?

- Do you actually close all your position in precisely the exact same moment? That will send the market up again attracting the exact same problem: only the very first ones to close their position would do it in 1.3070, the others will probably be closing at higher prices.

- Or do you wait and close your position whenever you do it? Meaning that only the very first ones to market will be able to lock garanteed to profits (in other words, in the event the market were to move).

So, if you aim is only to move the market, which may do it (even thought you will need a lot more than a couple of individuals with micro/mini accounts to perform it).
But if your objective is to produce profit from it, you will have to plan what happens next. Because the current plan would only benefit individuals selling JUST BEFORE let us move the market time.

No, Damien, I was Not. To make it clear, I think it may be possible (what isn't in the market???) But I do not think it's a fantastic idea. Anyways the readings are intriguing.
