94840Not really. My musing has little to do with trading or the markets, it's more about forums and why people post the comments that they do. Please feel free to tag me a failure if you believe your cause is helped by it in some way.
Apart from a few little projects, I've never written EAs for profit, and that I have not done any commercial programming of any kind since 2004. Despite not trading forex myself, most of our income comes from investments whom I hold from the financial markets. Still another reason once I read your remarks, why I mused.

You're putting this up acting like a gain of 100 percent over 9 months has been achieved in case 1, and a gain of 4000% over 5 years has been achieved in case 2. Not correct.
'Profit' here is projected gain that doesn't mean anything because that amount of money hasn't yet been created when based on the entire amount deposited. They consistently don't make sense and should be ignored, although I am not sure how those figures are calculated by myfxbook.
The true gain is that the total gain that's reported to be 33 percent for instance 1 9 months, and 463 percent over 5 years for instance 2. Since we can't with certainty determine residue where made you need to consider total amount deposited.
Case 1:
Reported Abs Gain: 33.44%
Reported Profit: $386327
Deposits: $1376819 (equals 100%)
Withdrawals: $620824 (45%)
Equity: $920866 (66.8percent )
Equity Withdrawals = 111%
Net different: 11% gains
Something in the numbers does not add up.
Case 2:
Reported Abs Gain: 463.78percent
Reported Profits: $8297276
Deposits: $1823988 (equals 100%)
Withdrawals: $673821 (37 percent of first deposit)
Equity: $9412490 (516 percent of first deposit)
Equity Withdrawals = 553%
Net different: 453% gains
Close enough
And open long enough to make me think it is real.
But I've never heard of that broker earlier.
