I went short on aud/usd, last night did the exact same and accumulated 50 pips, maybe this time I will do better.

I'm also holding short since yesterday, but AUD number only came in great. Not certain if this thing will come down or just continue going up.

GBP/CHF though appears to have some more downside possibility for this

The much hoped for rate hike didn't occur with RBA, so AUDUSD came down a little. Not sure if it will range or move in some direction . Anybody got any input?

my chips are all with the GBP/CHF trade, I think his call for your 202 TP is still good. Risk aversion is high, is a bad week for the market, everything is short, JPY and CHF will grow more powerful

What do you think is the trend for AUDUSD? When you say it's countertrend, do you mean it's going up or down? It appears that the trend needs to be down, but for a while now, it will not go down under .9500. If I'm correct I really don't know.

I can't provide you a crystal clear indiion on A/U, to be fair

which is the reason why I prefer to stay out ( I do not trade unless I am cocksure where the currency is heading...)


as pointed out, even if you blow up your weekly or monthly charts to find an overview ( minimize it), the trend will be up.

But you might be correct, that the weekly trend is overbought, so it should be down in the event that you refer to the COTS report.moreover au is very much predicated on gold and silver metals, with the risk aversion this high, I fear investors might well flee to gold. The downslide you are awaiting may be delayed.

Pretty much I am unsure, maybe MG will be able to provide some insights when he's back.
