No dumb chance within this thread. The Demark indior was created by a few of the traders in the world, and helps identify energetic support and resistance zones. Automan simply deals the indior, whilst mysticgenie uses COT to filter the better trades. I utilize MTF MA's and MTF stochastics to get an notion of this trend that is bigger, and then place limit orders above/below the indior's lines.

My query to Automan: I missed the enormous moves 12 hours past that broke out to the H1 on a lot of pairs. Do you have a recommendation for how to exchange missed breakouts? I haven't seen a H1 signal that is tradeable yet although I am waiting to enter the transactions. Should I move to some other timeframe?

How can you get a copy of the COT report?
I subscribe throught that the CFTR and the COT report comprises Options and Futures only or if I say it comprises everything anyhow curriencies.
Every Friday afternoon [EST], the latest COT report is updated on the CFTC website: http://www.cftc.gov/marketreports/co...ders/index.htm.
    Charts are available here: http://www.futuresweb.com/cotmember/.

Mysticgenie: Can you chart COT information [yourself], or use the link above, or some other COT charting service? Is there anything?
    Thanks!

My question to Automan: I missed the huge moves 12 hours ago that broke out on the H1 onto a lot of pairs. Have you got a recommendation for how to exchange missed breakouts? I'm waiting to enter the transactions but I haven't seen a H1 signal. Should I move to another timeframe to check for transactions?

Sometimes momentum is so strong that there won't be pullbacks.

Some people wait for pullback following the rest, then exchange on the next open.

So it's rather subjective. Trade on pullbacks, if u wan na play it safer. .

I am going to upgrade my commerce results for this week. . .boy wat an ending for this week! I'm going to bed now..once I have completed my analysis. . I will upgrade them

    cheers!

therefore it is quite subjective. Trade on pullbacks if u wan t perform it safer. .
I usually await a pullback, then enter. A position won't open When there's not any pullback. It is safer from the perspective of having a, and it's also more profitable, because you've got more to go.
However, you do not know whether a pullback actually is a pullback - or actually a reversal [until after the truth ]. So in the event that you trade only pullbacks, you might be raising the odds of being hauled the incorrect way by a reversal - which in essence may increase your overall risk: you are not taking the transactions with the best momentum, those that don't return. You take those that hesitate - but in a greater price.
I haven't tested this - anyone have any ideas on the issue?
    Thanks!
    Enjoy your weekend!!

    94840hi guys,

my very first article here...a fantastic thread. So the new COT rport came out and everything can I see is that:
    EUR: very bearish following week
    JPY: bulish following week.

Therefore its is perhaps a fantastic idea to sell eur/usd and especially eur/jpy at the coming week.I would love to ask the master of the COT report....How can you determine if there's a volatility or not?Is this according to the increasing open interests?
Thanks and have a nice weekend!

    94840Dear Folks,
Great to see quite a lot of interests around COT report lately-- There is no hard fast rule of distributing this report--that is completely discretionary-- one report is liable to various interpretations, called, inter-observer variability--the secret is to see this report from the light of economic events TA-- here goes my own interpretation of COT report to next wk-- this isn't a trade recommendation--use your own discretion appropriate MM

    Cad: volatile w/ bidirectional motion

    Chf: volatile w/ bearish bias
    Gbp: bullish
    Jpy: bearish
    Eur: bullish bias

    Aud: bullish bias

    Nzd: bullish bias

Wish you all a very prosperous wk!

    Hi MG,

Thanks for the prejudice' recommendations. I believe that it would help us to learn more if you can also describe the reason behind your bias for the week, so we may understand your reasoning behind the prejudice.
