Well, trading without stoploss is kinda dangerous, particularly for anyone who is willing to start out a long term trading, except if you have enough margin to hold those negative floating...

    I think that it depends.

I use them since I hold certain assumptions concerning the market, my personality, and how I prefer to trade.

I understand folks who do not use them and it works out just fine for them.

When I trade I don't have to put up stop-loss, but I keep tracking my trade. I shall close my trade when it attain risk allowed with my risk management. We are have our trade system, possibly different but it is okay?

Hi, If really to exchange with no stoploss. It best to decide on the utimate entrance for entrance. A major resistance or support. A super trend that hasnt retrace for sometime. You got a better probability to live. Where wonderland, dont pick a place on a No. May get rob or murder from mr FX... I prefer to have stoploss. I hate that feeling of risking 1% and then it moves against me up to 4 percent. I rather win shed and abit. And hit on one super runner trend. Thats the goal. Reg jin
Well, I never completed that. On long term trading, I always put trailing stop in order to protect the order .

I don't use a stop loss. Took some huge reductions some nice profits. I think its risky. But matters how much units/account size too.

I don't see why anyone would trade without prevent losses honestly what's about decreasing losses, unappealing. If you'r gonna have mad risk that in my view is idiotic have a stop too retain a shred of dignity. I am new too this but pretty much anywhere I have read and seen not having a stop loss looks like a fast way too passing and adding to this statistic of unsuccessful traders really gamblers.

Me either. It is a risky thing. Especially when a news come and you don't place a stop loss level.

I guess you can't read since you missed the whole point of what I said.

quote So what you're saying is that you can't hedge in the USA right? But said anything about trading using USA brokers? It looks to be an excuse. If one wants to hedge one can find brokers overseas.

Right mecrandie, such as I was trying to expain to this dummy hardass tradability is at the USA that there is not any hedging and yes you can illegally open off shore accounts which let it but you have to pay dearly in other ways and if you can actually earn a profit - which I do - then you need to explain why you've circumvented the laws of the country.

Therefore I now trade with no hedging without a stoploss and my profits are through the roof! By forcing me to comply with their very strict rules, so the US did me a favor.

As to utilizing stoploss's specifically... I just don't understand any normal person who makes consistant profit using a stoploss. Possibly in high frequency trading and who such as but for normal routine folk, the system is stacked against anyone who utilizes stoploss's in their trade plan.

    Good Trading!

quote Thank you Trader Joe for speaking out on this issue. Some self-proclaimed experts have been going crazy about my not using the stop reduction tool. I made it crystal clear I hedge my pairs with each other or simply by buying commodities hedge alternatives, if I can't work out the all-time zero line (equator line), which reliably predicts long term market direction. My experience with stop loss tool is that is often closes out places prematurely, and has failed to activate some times.
