I'd love to think we should be aware of what the issue lies and sighed when we view another so-close system failed directly in front of our very eyes AGAIN. Are not we all here to attempt to create the ideal system which would profit consistently with time?
Well, I was not trying to pick on anyone in particular. That kind of result is typical of risk management, I have seen it a lot of times everywhere on websites such as zulutrade and myfxbook. In my view don't close your transactions until they return to profit is not really a system, it is a recipe for disaster, because the trend will turn around and it only requires one particular transaction to conduct away from you. Especially established pairs whose behaviour is fuelled considerably by changes in risk on/off sentiment.

Cut your losses, and risk 1% equity each transaction -- that way, at least you give yourself a chance.

I think that it's a bit TOO SOON to publicize your thread based off someone's fresh failure. That saddens me.
Um, I am not trying to market anything, or make anyone feel unhappy. I am merely posting my opinion, exactly like everybody else. Just ignore me if I am wrong and also read another member's post.

We won't understand where the market will move we need to be able to limit the risks that will produce an account we can avoid mc. Therefore, I try to always use SL when trading in order that if the greater risk we can minimize the risk

When I ceased using stop losses, that is when I became profitable. I've dismissed the concept of risk-reward ratio. And up to now, it left me recover of my losses and return to winning form.

Interestingly, when I ceased using stop losses, that is when I became completely profitable. I've dismissed the notion of risk-reward ratio. And up to now, it made all my losses are recovered by me and return into form.
Max DD is zero ? Hmmmmm obviously FF statistical analysis is rubbish when a DD is visible and FF indicates a zero DD!
They need to improve that section.

I believe DDs are only listed once trades are closed. For improvement, FF must also incorporate the stat called Maximum Adverse Excursion (MAE).

Authentic BUT you understand that MAX DD is not based on closure of transactions, they are achieved anytime during a trade if be open or closed. In any event you achieved a DD but like I stated it shows zero in your account which is misleading and must reflect reality!
But good trading non the less and each has their own style and idea as long as it works and is ongoing.

I have a question that is very simple, and that is. . .Is there any advantage set stop losses? Any gain doing that? I´ve made this question and I don´t locate even 1 reason to risk my daily investment by not placing prevent losses. Please, if someone can clarify it I´ll love it. Thank you

Well, coming from my experience, when I removed my stop losses, I managed to satisfy my goals more often. There were many times on the market on which the price would have a sudden spike up (or down) that would cause my stop losses to be triggered, simply to find out that the price would just come back and then hit my goal. Those were the way I lost many of my trades and I hated it. But of course, I dont advise this strategy. It is a really risky move not to stop losses. But if you're willing to take those risks, then you may try if it suits you.
