I really don't put stop loss in most of my bots until I learnt I was trading the manner As soon as I began programming on MQLanguage.
Trading on no margin or minus margin than do not require stoploss, because trading minus margin theoritically will never margin call
Fine! congrets! . . I dont know how long you're in this business.today or tommorow you may....must know this/that is not trade/business...4/5 stay. . .catch and operate it is enjoyable. .game . .touch and go. . .like short intercourse!! . .we are all play/played one point but in the _6_EXTENSION burn butt most of us read our chart/stg/system again and again CHANGE TO HTF then you are going to enjoy da run/ride sense da long intercourse!! . .real gem of gambling. . .IMHO
I seldom used a stop loss, but following January I started to get it off and on (though fortunately I was on the ideal side of the move). About two months ago a car hit a transformer in my area and the power loss ruined my computer's internal clockjacked my Windows applications, and killed my meta trader software. Meta trader was clearly open and even after I fixed the clock and Windows, it might flash open and then shut. I reloaded it several times, but finally had to delete its files, then delete it, before I finally got it working again then reinstall it as a program. It took me 3 hours!!!! Now, stop losses are automatic.
Now, fortunately, I have other computers with battery backups, so the fear wasn't overly severe, but it was like a wake-up call. An individual can never know what's going to occur.
For me, I use semaphores and merely place a catastrophic stop loss in the last low. Not a big deal, and not one have been hit up to now. My system has never hit on a stop loss, imagined or real, and seldom loses a trade anyway. It is intended to exit before a stop loss would be hit. . .unless it's beyond my control.
However, I do recall reading about a strategy where you move a stop loss to the lowest/highest value of the prior 3 candles and let the market take you out to your profit. Consequently, if there is a stop loss used as a take profit tool, that is a completely different thing.
Lessons from actual life. Your choice??
I have been trading this for two decades, and no loss since 6 months. This is not just a Scalping strategy.I commerce based on Manual Intelligence. I just exit using Scalp.I commerce up to 20-30 trades per day.
Hello to you all!
Trading with no stop-loss is obviously possible, I've practiced that myself quite often. For this purpose, I choose some broker that provides scalping and require a little profit each time I can. So scalping is not bad trading strategy, I believe it's quite suppressed by lots of traders. It is implemented by me. If you do that, you do not need any stop-loss, simply watch your own trend.
Yes what you're saying is right and very much possible.
But the main thing is you will need to take part in a ECN Forex broker for performing this
Should be fair, I didn't understand your answer to total extent. For me it is important to trade with a quality broker that provides MT4 platform for automated trading.
