Because hedge funds hedge their trades rather and do not utilize Stop Losses, doesn't automatically signify that the strategies are applicable in retail trading. Bear in mind that they employ guys and they are able to legally hedge their positions. Just use a stoploss and deal with it

What if you use a stoploss of 50 percent of your balance, and place multiple trades on without a SL, then theoretically its well-intentioned and if a single trade is in large minus the others in some way will balance it.Look only for ranging intervals in highly ranging pairs.

Then cut the losing trades if it becomes a fad in the other direction, if its in range afterward grip till reverse. If its a winner afterward dont shut it until the tendency finishes.

The risk is only 1, even if a huge spike happens which is equal to 50 percent of your equity, therefore due to this use little lot dimensions.

    Can this practically reasonable?

Your risk appetite means everything. The risk/reward your time horizon. FOREX as we all know isn't a company, but only a newspaper of IOUs. It will not go bankrupt and its a purpose of life. If you think that the FED is aggressive and it is handing a good carry trade than leave it and put it. If you are a scalping to create bps here and there, than you want to keep the prevent losses it's possible to struggle for a better entrance.

I have found brokers do not like SL. FXCM, GlobalPrime, AvaTrade. You attempt to place the trade and receive a error message that the SL is too far from current price

How large exactly because there is a limitation in MT4 also, I think 10000 pips, but possibly I'm wrong. .

What do people consider trailing stop losses? I've heard mixed messages , any opinions on them?

The main thing is we know when our analysis is wrong. Then get out of the market once we are aware that the entry is in the incorrect direction.

This thread its just stupid,of course SL is good.

Trading without STOPLOSS means that you dont have a fking clue where the market will head to, since in the event that you do you would have no problem with putting a SL.

Thus a LACK OF STOPLOSS is a LACK OF KNOWLEDGE OF THE MARKETS, which in either manner will either lose you money or wash your account wash after a time.

Also not to tell that if a huge spike occurs, contrary to you and you're not in front of the PC, you can eliminate alot of money, whereas in the event that you have a SL you would got stopped out at a lesser loss.Just consider it...

Why not get knowledge , and then you would have no problem with putting SL?
