I think the plogy and subject are way over played, the most important thing is that you find an advantage, wihout which you can be the most discplined, focused trader on Earth and you still wont make a profit....
To each their own, but if you did a little spreadsheet job, you'd be surprised that 4 percent a month can make you very, very wealthy.

I really do find it intriguing that you think plogy and subject are overplayed. On your label. . .it says In training. Just an observation.

I personally do believe in the Holy Grail. Actually, it has been found by me. It was always there in front of me...I just didn't bother seeing it.

It is true that I'm still growing, in the moment I'm researching economics and market microstructure, I wouldn't feel all of the time I spend was worth it with those yields. I am not saying that its the only method, only for me. BTW I am talking from the point of handful of account construction, if I had a bigger account then I would be happier using less and less risk and profits and a simpler life.

The market never ever goes backward, it goes up, down a little then a lot, and occasionally sits in one place for a while, it's impossible for the market to go overboard as it's only two dimensional monster.
    OMG that's classic

The poster you are responding to stated the MARKET(not chart) price can only go down or up, Imo hes rite. The side-ways'movement' has been coined by the age of chartists due to the way they see market information.

Consider it, the price of a cucumber went side-ways today

90201You do want a trading platform to follow along, but if you dont understand your self and

have discipline all is for not.

90201Yes. A trader told that if I look in a mirror I will see it.

I think you're making a semantic point, price itself either goes down or up, this is true. Bring in time to the equation (which ought to be a given anyways, unless you're attempting to be an ass making a ridiculous point), also when price remains in the same place while moving across the x-axis (time), it has moved . I don't know 1 trader who ignores time you ought to lay off the attitude and stop being a dick.

As for the holy grail, I figure it is how you define it. I define it as what is necessary to eventually realize profitability, which can be likely...
I think the problem here isthis is a ridiculous thread with individuals posting ridiculous comments who don't have a clue as to trading, this includes yourself, obviously from the comments.

Time is a landmark of where price is currently at, where it has been and a possible indiion of as it will move, it has nothing at all to do with price going backward.

Now, if you would like to explain in more depth your theory of time impacting a sideways move, I am always prepared to listento.

    If not, then closed.

90201Oh instruct me Master, you're so adorable and brilliant, please inform me more about how exactly I need to dismiss time and its impliions in trading. Price only goes up or down and that's all I need to know That sure makes things a lot easier!

Edit: yikes, only a couple of months ago you were saying how new you had been to demoing, and you're in here telling people to shut up and cease trading because they do not have a clue regarding trading? Since we are saying price can go sideways, a term oft-repeated through the trading world? Oh boy, that's just great

90201Correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't it you that began the posts, here?

Also, are you aware that you're preventing my request that you show us price going sideways on a chart? That my friend, are the truth.

And you are correct, I had been demo trading my own systems, still am demo trading a few of these, my main system is traded reside daily.
