... But think Plogy is everything in this market because it is the reason price moves...
If there wasn't any fundamental driver to trigger the plogical response whould prices still move? I think fundamentals move the market and over/under-reaction (emotion, or belief based systems) generates momentum and pullbacks, which crete further responses.

Having said that, I think the complexity of underlying reaction would be to complex to exchange or even pinpoint for that matter.

At the conclusion we need to be able to exchange and profit out of our convictions or else they relly don't have a lot of significance.

Maybe rather than debating if the markets are driven by plogical facets, we should be talking to the men and women who exchange plogical (belief based) versions... And listen to how they determine the broad based belief of this market in any given moment...

I was surprised at how much irritation I felt with all the OP.

I believed that he clearly had not been trading long or he would have been throughout the periods where what he knew stopped working and his durability and adaptation became so important. Where understanding himself and the other players on the market would make a difference.

But I then recalled that its not the emotion which causes the problem in trading - its what you do when the emotion arises.

So I want you good luck guys and gals. Some will need more than others

I was surprised at how much irritation I felt with all the OP.

I felt he clearly hadn't been trading long or he would have been throughout the intervals where what he knew ceased working and his durability and adaptation became significant. Where knowing himself and the other players in the market would make a difference. I was irritated that in his ignorance he would deceive others.

But I then remembered that its not the emotion which causes the problem in trading - its what you do if the emotion appears.

And people who are not prepared for all those emotions as soon as it becomes significant will be adaptable and less fit. But, after all, the market is just evolution in action. So they'll feed the fitter and consequently do us a favor. So thanks to this OP.

I wish you good luck guys and gals. Some will require more than others

Nice view. But I think Plogy is all in this market since it is the reason price goes. But emotion on the other hand, which comes under the umbrella of plogy. . .plays a role particularly for people that are experienced.
What if you had 1000 computers commanding a few billion dollars, all programmed with various egies to ch a move.

Since the market moved up, all started to buy at different decision points, for various motives, using different calculations, egies and indiors.

As they came into the up movement, what would the market do?

Then, as they took profit at several times, what would the market do?

What job would plogy perform in this scenario?

Do you think the huge traders, the banks, the associations, the programmed traders, allow plogy enter into the equation?

Only a few questions for thought.

You're correct, the name should have been feelings which may be more accurate.

However, maybe we should re-evaluate the role plogy has in transferring the market.

Notably since traders who are emotion driven will enter and depart at the wrong times consistently, some instances just at the wrong times. I understand, I've done it. They say you can't pick tops and bottoms perfectly, well, I've done it on occasion.

In relation to taking advice from someone, you shouldn't hear a single thing this so called teacher has to say. Her statements reveal that she's not a professional. A failure in terms of students' learning.
If someone on my staff had an attitude similar to this individual they would be spat out quicker than you can spell out'irresponsible'.

Just needed to set this straight. Back to the trading discussion.

    Lou
Yes, no kidding. I was kinda ill although I likely would have given her good reaming. To think my children were in the hands of individuals like this was overwhelming.

Glad to hear you state that the criteria are high someplace.

did not mean to imply that anyone was arguing

It's kind of like the person who pushes a rubicon using a 3 Pro Comp SA elevator and also the guy who drive one using a 4 LA kit. They debate and will sit all day long about the advantages of each strategy. Lower centre of gravity versus bend and so on... Of course while they're arguing I'm just crawling by making them look silly in my old beater
Argue, debate, let's not worry about semantics.

Awesome pic. Yeah, sometimes I wish I had built my ride up, it would definitely do more. However, overall it is a terrific Jeep, doesn't give me some openings on the road at speed, which was, I'm sure, the main concern of the design team, therefore the many compromises....

That I plan to keep it forever, someday it'll be lifted and duped out. Yet another thing on the list for when I'm making lots of bucks in FX...

I was surprised by how much irritation I felt with all the OP.

I felt that he definitely hadn't been trading long or he'd have been throughout the periods where what he knew ceased functioning and his resilience and adaptation became significant. Where knowing himself and the other players on the market would really make a difference. So I was upset that in his ignorance he'd deceive others.

But then I remembered that its not the emotion that causes the problem in trading - its what you do if the emotion arises.

And people that are not ready for all those feelings when it becomes significant will be adaptable and less fit. But the market is just evolution in action. So they will nourish the fitter and thus do us a favor. So thanks to this OP.

I wish you all good luck guys and gals. Some will need more than others
learn how to commerce, you won't need pbabble or fortune.

And, you'd better get a handle on these feelings of irritation. Veiled insults are lashing out.
