    Profitable EA?

    Hi guys,

I want your help. I wrote simple (is important) EA and I wonder is it worth to develope it more.
I have analyzed this EA for period 2011.01.01-now. EA has SL and positions opened by buystop/sellstop. Just for H4, EURUSD (but it works also with other currencies).
    Just ~500 trades.
I connected charts and data from tester. First EA with no Money Management.
Another two pics presents this EA with MM added.

Plz give me advice, what amount of favorable trades (period) you believe is essentiall to consider going live?
What other variables I need to test/check to affirm it might be profitable on-live.

With no MM (only trailing SL)

    with MM and trailing SL

    thx
    PP

My advice to serious system traders: don't listen to the negativity. In case the system lasts more than a 10 years period with 2 pips of disperse (even 1 would make it extremely hard ), a thousand samples, several entry /exit levels, RR. . On instruments then it not fitted. Backtesting (manually or auto) is the only and only way to check the system's -past- performance. .

It is intriguing to read the analytics and the assumption of normal traders, you can produce your analysis according to their opinion.

Profitable EAs are hard to locate in my view because many shows returns in the trunk tests and then back spike or fire in live accounts. Unless you're a coder than you code the strategy at your own but all the EA are technically coded to follow technical analysis so they might require monitoring during the highly volatile markets.
