95% Lose in FX is a Myth: % Profitability in the US last year

In a bid to manage this stink stink we always hear about the way this 5 percent of FX traders are profitable and the remainder are all losers, I have discovered a public document with some quite interesting statistics.

I've been an advoe this 5 percent rumour can't be accurate as every trader I know personally is in profit and I've finally found a respectable report that kicks the 5 percent in its nuts. I do not have info on exactly HOW profitable they are, the amounts just indie IF the account has turned a profit in the preceding calendar year.

I've shaded the brokers for apparent reasons:
    that I ********** B****** - 45.3percent in Profit
    O**** - 32.5percent in Profit
    F*** - 29.9percent in Profit
    that I ** - 23.1percent in Profit
    G*** C****** - 27.0percent in Profit
    I***/T*********** - 30.2percent in Profit
    F*** - 28.0percent in Profit
    C***** - 42.0percent in Profit
    M* T****** - 26.8% in Profit

The sample is derived out of over 90,000 busy FX accounts in the US This past Year.

There is ZERO indiion which 95% of FX traders eliminate money, in reality it seems in some cases its almost 50 percent MAKE money!

I hope that goes some way to dealing with the endless anguish we read every day.

I do not understand about the other brokers, but I really do trade via O****. They cover interest on carry trades, so I'm assuming the majority of their profitable customers are holding carry trades. But, a more important point needs to be made here - just being profitable one year means nothing. What things is profitibility following 5 years, ten years, etc.. There's the rub, and that's what's currently pointing outside.

I really do disagree with one thing - many millionaires do not offer society with anything helpful. They're rich because they're leeches that are social. In selling crap we do not really want, nor is thinking serving any real purpose I see no value. Nor for that matter is dribbling a basketball or acting in a film use to society.

Trading forex doesn't help society and no one is twisting your arm to buy their' junk'. Clearly lots of people do like their junk or else they would not buy it and the junk seller would not be rich. ( by the way, society is helped by these rich folks employing other people to produce this junk )

why are you currently investing forex if the purpose is not to get rich? ( assuming the success rate is as low as folks think )

why do people want to hate on rich men and women? Lots of men and women are great, quality people that support their communities

I believe even though I'm rich I will still be trading mall stores. It's more fun than video games.

And yet another study, this time from Poland.

According to the analysis, roughly 81% of customers of Foreign Exchange brokers in Poland realized losses in their accounts, whereas 19 percent of the customers have achieved gains. The analysis encompassed results accumulated between the 1st of January and the 31st of December of 2013.

This was over a 1 year interval. I'm fairly sure the amount goes to over 90% losers, if they were to extend that to three decades.

However, how can you or the Forex Magnates article - clarify the first post of this thread in which the stats reveal many traders are actually profitable?
