In a bid to manage this stink stink we always hear about the way this 5 percent of FX traders are profitable and the remainder are all losers, I have discovered a public document with some quite interesting statistics.
I've been an advoe this 5 percent rumour can't be accurate as every trader I know personally is in profit and I've finally found a respectable report that kicks the 5 percent in its nuts. I do not have info on exactly HOW profitable they are, the amounts just indie IF the account has turned a profit in the preceding calendar year.
I've shaded the brokers for apparent reasons:
that I ********** B****** - 45.3percent in Profit
O**** - 32.5percent in Profit
F*** - 29.9percent in Profit
that I ** - 23.1percent in Profit
G*** C****** - 27.0percent in Profit
I***/T*********** - 30.2percent in Profit
F*** - 28.0percent in Profit
C***** - 42.0percent in Profit
M* T****** - 26.8% in Profit
The sample is derived out of over 90,000 busy FX accounts in the US This past Year.
There is ZERO indiion which 95% of FX traders eliminate money, in reality it seems in some cases its almost 50 percent MAKE money!
I hope that goes some way to dealing with the endless anguish we read every day.
