Nicholas Sarkozy could be the end of Forex

I don't place much stock in things of such a character. Nevertheless, the French president is alot of support such as the entire support the prime minister that is canadian, of his colleagues, and he and the President of the United States of America are meeting now. In summary, he wants to put an end to capitalism, the speculator (us forex traders), or those who profit in the short term and don't only buy a stock and hold it for 20 years, and also currency disorder. Here is a link to a post written my Mr. Sarkozy and his vision for the change he wants to bring about, his Bretton Woods.

While I don't think the U.S. and Britain will go along with this, given the extent of the damage brought on by the credit crisis, anything you can. They might adopt. I will be keeping an eye on Mr. Sarkozy.

*Update Mr. Sarkozy has his meeting Bretton Woods meeting set for November 15th. Check page 5.

Will never happen. To many individuals have a strong interest in maintaining the status quo.
This won't ever happen because his discourse is dictated by these men and women who made the crisis and pretend to repair the crisis.

Stock market variant is really used as a mechanim of invisible transfer of wealth from the middle class to the wealthiest class.

It'll happen when everyone fund can be controlled via Microchip if one believe Aaron Russo

If US, EU and London would do such a stupid thing to kill the small Currency Market specs then hopefully China will open it's doors like London is now. Imagine how much money China is going to make from that should the major FX companies go to China. Only an idea.

Well perhaps its better that he is talking rather than behaving. It'll make him feel like he has achieved something.

As Sir Arnold says: Life is so much easier when ministers believe they've achieved something.

I am surprised if it happens. Forex trading is HOT at the moment in China. They have Forex Trading Institutes setup to recruit traders. Kinda like Prop Trading if you have what it takes, you will be trained by them and then let you exchange.

China has come a long way. It used to be illegal to exchange RMB to foreign currencies; you have to do it on the Black Market.
