Heads Up: CHF Rate Hike (Sep 14)

Switzerland is expected to raise Interest Rates tommorrow.

I dont even have historic charts to know if everyone take this matter lightly or even highly. Thus far, only JPY is not affected by any rate decisions. But CHF is a european currency that moves according to fundamental facets. So I guess CHF will proceed up.

I've been trading with two Brokers when I recognized FXCM disables trading on certain situations.

I currently trade with 2 - not the most appropriate for news but part of this sport. I'm still trying to find a 3rd MT4 established broker. I dont want to relearn a different system and am developing my TA egies with MT4 EA/scripts.
    Hey BK,

One of my associates is a meta head and he just started using TRADEX. He like it so far and has gotten full of his straddle bot.

Appears to me that the technicals will dictate over the fundamentals in the moment - at least until tomorrow's raft of information.

Before you ask, first browse! Check post #36... I've pasted it here for your convenience.

The typical wicked da wickeda mon.....everyone anticipated the increase, so everybody was short swissy, the selling electricity was probably emptied, the buyers held back, on the announcement that the last remaining seller potency tried to get past the 1.2435 prior 23.6percent fib, failed along with the buyers stepped in and hauled back it up....real shame though, I had been attempting to stay in a short in the pin rest of yesterday's daily but got stopped at rest even on the spike back up before accepting any profit:/

Could be ironic to have it fail near the 1.2490-1.2500 barrier again after getting stopped. . .or if it stops short of 1.2540 and then drops off . . .we'll visit...

1 Attachment(s) I am kinda amazed at how many individuals straddled the Suisse rate announcment and maybe a bit more surprise how many individuals lost or got out shortly.

So many men and women are searching for that quick spike and depart. Not all information moves behave like that. In reality, this spikeyness(new phrase ) is sort of odd.
I offer you may want to consider being more individual with alot of those data releases. Maybe not straddle the significant ones and watch the price action following the release for great chances.

Have a peek at the price action leading up to 8:00 I call this sort of substance laser moves. After the price on a 3 or 5 minute chart is moving nearly in a straight line on a rather strong angle. Ask yourself why it is moving like this. Does this seem like regular price action to you?

Once I see laser motions I am thinking someone is feeding at a large position . The next question I ask is why? The suisse rate growth was anticipated. This laser move was going in the exact direction you may expect anticipating the release.

You can speculate this and that all day long and at the end maybe you get it right. I, on the other hand, just watch. I see these laser motions every so often. What did I learn? I discovered that when they're over one of two things happen. Everybody gets on board and there's an exhaustion spike or as soon as the big money stops the feed at the move reverses abrutley. Again, speculate why all you desire. It is fun and interesting to do so. But, make some cash on what you understand is coming!

I was hot to trot on this one since it matched up perfectly with my 4HR tech. But sadly I had been treated to some glitch in my new trading platform that caused it to crash upon opening it. UGH!

MERLIN you are so right about having 2 brokers. And I am with you but I am in transition on the next one. TIMING!

Anyhoo here's a chart depicting the laser move.

    Watch for em!!!

So many people are looking for that rapid spike and exit. Not all information moves behave like that. In reality, this spikeyness(new phrase ) is sort of unusual.
Being an absolute noob in the news trading I discovered that the hard way. Thank you for your input dude.
