I was wondering if anyone had a functioning automatic stop reduction script or specialist? Ive tried a lot of different ones but none seem to work with my MT4.
The below EA is tried and tested beyond doubt.
In Windows '64' loion in Pros folder via File #9658; Open Data Folder.
If more than 1 terminal is installed 9658; origin.txt document to identify the MT4 Terminal.

    a) SL TP EA download.Automatic - operates when a place is opened. EA to be on chart before a place is opened. SL TP settings are in points not pips. 200 points = 20 pips. To disable SL or TP set to 0.
    B) Stop Loss and Take Profit Scripts - script for MetaTrader 4Not Automatic - for manual performance following a place is opened. Drag preselected SL or TP script on to chart Drag any other SL TP script to change SL TP. SL TP settings are in points not pips. 200 points = 20 pips. Link -Stop Loss and Take Profit Scripts - script for MetaTrader 4 - https://www.mql5.com/en/code/11087 Notice: Scripts work on a one-off basis. EAs work on a tick update basis. So if the SL TP EA is about the chart and also a script is hauled on the chart it won't work because in the next tick the EA will populate the script. https://www.cliqforex.com/attachment...1550144489.mq4

    Hello people,

I have been searching for a functioning 'one cancels other' MT4 Ea... had downloaded a couple but they don't appear to work. . I only require a simple one which does what it's suppose to do. . Cancel the remaining pending order once the order was filled. . Thanks beforehand. Baloo

Hello, I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me if it is potential in MetaTrader to modify an open order w/o including a new one? When I buy, say 1000 units market 100 and 200 units, is it possible to have just my original position open with 700 units rather than having 3 open positions, just one long for 1000 units and two brief to 100 and 200 units? Also, how can I close my open position? In MT I end up with a few dozen orders that are really 1 position, should I use a script? Thank you,
The below presumes the account allows hedging.

    A) If : Appliions #9658;Alternatives #9658;Trade #9658; [] One Click Tradiing is ticked.

Open MT4 Terminal (Ctrl T) #9658; Righr click original position for 10,000 units (0.10 lots)#9658; Modify or Delete Order #9658; alter Type: from Modigfy or Delete Order to Market Execution or Instant Execution #9658; alter Volume: to required value (eg., 2,000 units (0.02 lots)) #9658; Close (Yellow Button).

Orginal 10,000 position will be decreased to 8,000 units (0.08 lots).

    B) If : Gear #9658;Alternatives #9658;Trade #9658; [] One Click Tradiing is unticked.

Open MT4 Terminal (Ctrl T) #9658; Righr click original position for 10,000 units #9658; Close Order #9658; alter Volume: to required value (eg., 2,000 units) #9658; Close (Yellow Button).

Orginal 10,000 position will be decreased to 8,000 units.

    C) Or Right click position line on chart #9658; either Close or Modify - based to standing [] One Click Trading

    Hi,

I would love it if anyone can tell me if it is possible in MetaTrader to modify an open order w/o including a new one?

If I buy, say, 1000 units and sell 100 and 200 units, is it feasible to have only my first place open with 700 units rather than having 3 open positions, one long for 1000 units and two brief for 100 and 200 units?

Moreover, how do I slowly shut my open position? In MT I end up with a dozen orders that are one place, should I then use a script?

    Thank you,

    Hello

I have been trading but haven't been able to perform that well.
Lately I am thinking about accepting trading seriously. Like time occupation kind of serious.

Enjoy if someone would Mentor me instructing me the way to trade like a profession, trade for a living.
    Or
do discuss what a trader lifestyle is like. What's the career path enjoy? What next job should I be looking out for? Should I choose trading classes so on...

Hello people. The main reason I joined this forum is to discover a trading buddy to exchange ideas and learn from one another. I am really enthusiastic about trading and that I did demonion, extensive back testing, live trading (I managed to increase my own account by 112 percent in 4 months, but then all went downhill ) in last 3 decades. Despite dropping I keep learning and keep improving. I read several books on trading forex and I did my extensive research on forex pairs and their behaviour and I have some interesting findings. I began to plan some egies to check out to determine how they work. I use history since 2001 until now to test some ideas I have (mostly easy, since my programming skills are still closer to advanced beginner).

Simply I feel I can provide a lot to someone who is equally enthused. I live in London and now I'd love to discover a trading buddy so we can meet face to face and discuss trading forex.

After long search I decided to focus on Trading Chaos egy from Bill Willi.

There are 5 levels the best way to get from beginner to expert trader. Last week I started on Level 1 Novice and my goal Isn't TO Eliminate MONEY AND GAIN EXPERIENCE. I did 10 trades since, 9 winners and one loser, with entire pips profit of 143.6 pips. I'll be on Level 1. The following level is Advanced Beginner and the aim will be to make profit on a small account.

I believe two people will advance faster together.

    Hi everyone.

I want to share my experience with forex trading and would like to boost my abilities. I would like to understand what I am doing is
    correct?

I do trading using euro/usd pair and execute orders based on economy calendar eg. Dailyfx.com/calendar so if I see there is an occasion for USD or EUR I perform my order a minute past the event is beginning.

    MY question is:

in case USD occasion have favorable impact on market then EURUSD pair will go downward or upward?

For instance: on Friday 27 May time: 17:30 there was US Data:

USD Gross Domestic Product (Annualized) (1Q S)
    Actual: 0.8%
    Forcast: 0.9%
    Past 0.5%

does this mean the real effect is favorable ?
    Please direct.

Do additional currency events such as GBP, AUD or even JPY e.t.c also impact EURUSD pair motion ? USD events and or just EUR impact this pair ?
