Oanda has low spreads and MT4. MT4 highly recommended since probably majority of FOREX traders use it.

Different ppl want different brokers based on your own account size.
As a matter of reality. I'm using Nordfx for my USD800 account
I'm using AlpariUK and HotForex for my bigger accounts. (USD2000 )

I think to get a newbie MT4 platform will be great... Ninja trader is also good

esignal is also great.... Vtrader is cool

However, the best platform is the platform which lets you do your analysis in the best way..so test some brokers on demo and test some platforms too on trail, because most platforms aren't for free

Boy...I really could go a little while with this....money isn't evil or un-Christian....it's exactly what you can do with it....God has given me a talent and I am using it...I use my ability to change other peoples lives for the greater fiscally....there is nothing in the Bible that says the only money that can be made is if somebody else doesn't lose any...(please provide the scripture) I would submit the sin in life would be to be obsorbed by money since you've got none..than using it and using it for your own good. . .the lack of it is the origin of most unsuccessful marriages, it's the root of crime, poor folks can't help poor men and women. . .it take producers instance the parable of the landlord that gave his 3 servants equivalent sums to invest while he was away. . .who was rewarded? Do not blame God for your failures or your succeses here from the Forex....God isn't against you....if you are losing, it's because you have not developed the abilities to win....not since God has thrown out a roadblock in front of you. . .maybe only few hurdles...
