    Hello Rensdad,
Hope you're doing great. I had a couple of questions in my head which I would like to ask though not that much difficult to answer nevertheless im unable to answer them myself. Hope it wont be an ache for u. Right now im trading as newby in forex on demo accounts and as per the help of a cousin I started trading with indiors and oscillators and found them quite good enough to trade on but gradually and steadily I started digging into the subject because I wish to make it my actual profession. I went through quite alot of books and webinars and many videos on youtube regarding price action and chart patterns and also chart analysis with addition to many other indiors like moving averages, fibbonaccis and non the ichimoku. After doing so much research and research I got lost finally ending up no where. I was much superior trading eith the indiors and oscillators but now when I've started following price action I could've dropped the potence of indiors.
With all said I am now confused that where should I start from, if I stick to indiors and oscillators I wont get really a professional trader but if I research on price action charts and fibbs and ichimoku I am lost. Please allow me to find the steps that I should follow which ends up in understanding and mastering the things. Even though a newbie but has had much in mind now about forex that cant start anywhere. Hopefully u understand what I am asking and might help me out.
    Thanx Beforehand

    Mr Green,

Thanks for the help. I really do have a little bit of a response for now though for roger.

I do not know if US will go up more this week or can it go back down a bit a test so support or resistance. I do not understand what is gonna happen. I really do understand that price is never too high to buy or too low to sell. I do not want to tell anyone how to exchange so it's somewhat difficult for me to describe where we are right now. Last Monday, USDCAD jumped up. I had been thinking that it was gonna retrace a bit until it went up some more. It kept on moving up. So, do we sit and await a fantastic entry price for in and go long or do we get in now cause it might not retrace? Well, instead of opening a massive position right now anticipating no retrace, start a small position. If price retraces and you get stopped out, it's only a small loss. There are many differant angles.
Only if a person waits for the retrace, what happens if this retrace does not occur. Or if a retrace is not more than the retrace and is a reverse. I am not able to let you know what to do or what is gont occur next week. You merely need to exchange what you see.
The most essential point to remember is cut your losses short and let your profits run. I know that is easier said than done. But once you work out how to do so, you'll be so much closer to financial freedom.
I had been in a buy on the usd/cad for a while. . .it went much further than I thought and off it went....to answer your query, at least for me personally. . .if I am not convinced enough to exchange a complete position, I am guessing and/or hoping....so I will not do it...I am viewing the Cad, it will retrace, but till I get the correct price action to exchange with high likelihood, I am from this pair. I had been making money on the swissy and the euro/pound last week. . .no need to pursue the elongated move on the Cad....don't get caught in the pursuing trades....if you miss a move, or escape from a move to premature. . .go find a different pair that's offering you the appropriate formulation, whatever that's for youpersonally, to exchange. The herd chase moves, do not even use some of your funds to trade as though they do....my .02

Really interesting, and also a topic for its own thread as I'd like to see this thread get hijacked in this direction. It would end up in the Recycle bin.
Jane - why don't you post a new thread in the Member Area on this and I'd be happy to offer you my ideas on this.

There used to be a thread somewhere on here that talked about how to determine what exactly do buy and sell. It was a thread. In case the puppy went in the southeast corner of the yard and took a ditch, we would short EURUSD. If my dog humps my leg when I head out to feed him, I'd go long USDJPY.
Stuff like this. It was pretty funny.

The main thing when trading isn't to do what others tell you. Do what you believe is the right thing. If you are not sure in your decisions in trading, you are not ready to trade fulltime IMHO

Jesus saying provide all you've got to inferior, maybe not takeing $ from them.

    Hi Jane,

No, I do Not think God trades. I don't think it's a sin or something for a trader.
    Hm...
I am not sure what else to say about it other than, my entire family is God fearing. Especially sis and my mom. Well they're behind me 100% of this trading. They've both given me money to begin accounts for them too. My I proceed with my mom to church each Sunday and my sister is married to a pastor.
Allow me to get back to you about this however. While I think about it, I will ask them their views about this. If my mom thought this was something that goes against God, she'd have said something about it. If I don't reply on here within a week, remind me to ask her and I will see what she has to say.
